We were a party of 6 and were extremely bored with this ghost tour. DO NOT buy this tour! It was the equivalent of watching a show while riding around in a bus. We had a few stops and they were a few minutes each and nothing exciting: outside the gates of cemeteries, a cafe to buy goods, and a stop to see the outside of a house that was in American Horror Stories. The “show” was super lame and laughable and we had very little commentary from our driver. It was a huge waste of time and money. All 6 of us were disappointed and couldn’t believe how ridiculous that tour was. I emailed the company and didn’t get a response, so here we are…

Great tour and guide. Bam Bam a lot of fun. Pick up point in a scary deserted part of town. Felt dangerous to get dropped off at.

This ghost bus tour is the biggest waste of money i’ve ever experienced. Approx $60 USD per person. We were told it was an automated tour (no explanation as to what this meant) but that you drive from spot to spot and get out to “explore” the cemeteries, a mansion, and a park. She really sold it as spending minimal amounts of time on the bus and actually getting to walk around and explore these areas for signficant amounts of time. However, the tour itself was sitting on a bus for 2hrs watching a crappy and cringey ghost story video (something like you’d see on history channel). You got out at the 3 spots, but could not enter the mansion or cemetery as they were both closed (something we were not told). You stood there and took pictures outside the fence. You also only got about 5 minutes at each of these 3 spots. We were extremely disappointed, as were many others on our bus. The guide who sold us the tour was very deceitful in what this tour was actually about. It was not spooky whatsoever, was more of a silly joke-type tour. What an absolute garbage tourist trap. $60 to ride around on a bus in the dark and watch a cringey movie for 2hrs straight. I genuinely can’t believe people are being charged that much for this joke of a tour. Our driver Melvin, however was great. The swamp tour was a thousand times better. Do that instead.

My sister and I were a bit apprehensive when the tour first started because of the automated commentary delivered via video screen, but as it got underway we started to enjoy it, and by the end we were glad we had done this tour as we saw more of the city than we would have done on a walking tour. Our guide (Nolan?) was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and he took the time to make sure he stopped the bus outside the buildings, so we could see them and imagine the happenings of the ghost stories we were being told. He also made sure he took photos of my sister and I so we would have a memory of us both being in the USA. When we stopped in City Park at Cafe Du Monde for Beignets, he offered to take people to local spots he knew they could get good photos. I was not impressed with the beignets here, in my opinion the beignets on sale in Cafe Beignet on Bourbon St were much better.

The ghost tour was very informative and fun visting the house that was used in the show American horror story-The Covent. And visting the catholic cemetery true stories of tragedies that happen in 1800-1900’s. I would recommend this tour.
