We had a wonderful guide, Carmela, who made the walk come alive with great views and her strong knowledge of the history of Nice. Highly recommended.

Lara loves her city and it shows in her descriptions of places, art and architectural features that you would never find on your own. She is also knowledgeable about the food of the region and can offer suggestions for places serving regional food. A very pleasant few hours.

My wife and I travelled with 7 other passengers on a trip to Rawnsley Park Station and Arkaroola in the Flinders Ranges followed by a stay in Broken Hill for two nights on the way back to Victoria. All of the accomodation was good, to very good. We were away for a total of 12 days, we travelled in a 9 seater bus that provided plenty of legroom for the mostly older passengers. Tour Local, who arranged the trip, cater for the 55+ age group so they make sure that there are plenty of stops along the way for sight seeing and coffee, etc. Some of the inclusions on this trip included, visits to a couple wineries in the Clare Valley, The Geoff Morgan Gallery in Hawker, The Silverton Hotel, 4WD Ridgetop Tour of the Flinders Ranges (44kms of very rough track), Pro Hart Gallery & Museum and lots more. Everything is paid for up front so all we had to pay for during the trip was drinks at night, the odd lunch and any souvenirs. This is the second Extended Tour we've done with this company, both have been excellent, and we are looking forward to the next one which departs in August for Darwin and The Kimberley including Broome.

Still fun on an unusually rainy day. We were not able to go up the hill but took more time in the old town.

We had Carmela as our tour guide for our Nice walking your and it was AMAZING! We still talk about this tour specifically. Carmela is such a great tour guide and shared so much great information, stories, and history while we were exploring the area. We felt like we have known her forever and it felt very personal (which is rare in our experience for tours like this). She kept us interested the entire three hours and made the experience so fun. We wish she could have been our tour guide for our whole trip!! Can’t recommend her or this tour enough.
