Just completed (Tuesday 20th June 9:30am) the Bordeaux Historic and Gourmet Food Walking Tour with Isabella. We expected at the end of the tour to receive a wine glass and complete the tour in thier apartment to "enjoy all the specialities you gathered" "accompanied by a glass of wine". This did not occur and when we queries Isabella she stated only three food stops were included.

What I think about this tour is the history of Bordeaux was amazing. She told us about everything and anything you would need to know. They did not give a lot of food but we we had was wonderful. What she did tell you is where you can get the best chocolates, best duck dinner, and so on. We did enjoy ourselves and she did it both French and English

If you are looking for a food tour this is not it. We came hungry/didn’t eat breakfast because most food tours feed you until you can’t breath. It wasn’t the case for this tour. We had 1 canale (tiny cake), 2 pieces of chocolate, and a few pieces of Spanish iberco ham. Why we had Spanish ham on a french tour is very confusing. More of a history tour with a snack or two

Was able to see a lot of Bourdeaux in half a day. These included several neighborhoods, old city gates and monuments. The tour guide was new to the job and rushed us too much. She did not have us introduce ourselves. The stops for canele, sausage, chocolate and coffee were good.

Nice guide but this most certainly was not a gourmet food tour by any standards. Please do not offer this again. Ask anyone what a gourmet good tour is. You visit and eat at the facilities. If this cannot be arranged and paid for your company then don’t do it and stop fooling peopke

Theo was a terrific guide. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him and seeing Bordeaux through his eyes! Theo was awesome!

Our guide was excellent and knowledgeable of Bordeaux and its history. We toured the city and picked up local breads, cheeses and meats along the way, meeting and engaging with the shopkeepers. I would highly recommend this tour.

Quentin, our guide, was excellent!!! He was very knowledgeable about Bordeaux history as well as humorous and entertaining. The food and wine provided were classically good. Quentin answered all or our questions and did not make us feel rushed or hurried. I would highly recommend this tour, especially with Quentin.A Troy delightful experience

We had a great gourmet walk through Bordeaux Guillaume was the perfect host I now know where to have my petit dejeuner The chocolate demo was really interesting Benjamin knows how to make great chocolate The lunch was a great combo our purchases and and quiche Lorraine and salad and wine Their office is a great space Very welcoming

We had a good time on this food tour, but it is a bit different than others we have enjoyed in other cities/countries. It began a bit slow as we walked around the area of Bordeaux as trucks were making deliveries and the shops began to open. As the tour began at 9 AM, it was enjoyable to walk the city as it began to ‘wake up’. Far fewer stops than other tours and although I agree with another reviewer that it was enjoyable to choose the cheeses and desserts we ate at lunch, it was a good tour, but not excellent.
