Carmen was amazing! Her tour covered so much of Barcelona's history which made the architecture come alive. Doing the tour early in our week's stay really put the rest of the city in context. And Carmen is so warm, approachable and friendly. One of our group is going to study Architecture as a graduate student, and she was thrilled with the tour. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Spain.

Pia our guide was amazing ! I can think of no better way to visit and learn about the life and work of Gaudi. Pia was knowledgeable and passionate about her work which shined through on our tour. Fantadtic

This was a lot more than just a Gaudi tour. We learned so much about the history of Barcelona (urban planning, architecture, government). Pia was fantastic! While I don't know any of the other guides, I highly recommend Pia for any tour.

This tour set a VERY high bar for walking tours. Tomás started our tour with historical maps and images on the history of Barcelona, Cerdas and Gaudi which gave context to the rest of the tour. We experienced Gaudí through the eyes of an architect while walking the streets of Barcelona. It was like a dream come true. 10/10 recommend.

Our guide, Pia, was very good. She was enthusiastic about architecture. I would not have noticed many details that she pointed out. It was very educational. A bit of a walking lecture. We were given listening devices so there was no problem hearing her.

Thomas was an incredible tour guide, he was extremely knowledgeable about the architecture and history of Barcelona. I expected the tour to be good, but did not expect it to be as enjoyable as it was. Thomas has a great and detailed understanding of the area and makes the tour very fun. I would highly recommend!

Pia gave us a compact, immersive masterclass in history and architecture, presenting truckloads of information illuminated by a combination of stories, cultural references, and the buildings and neighborhood we visited. This is not just a “Gaudi tour” (which I hoped for and expected) but rather a mosaic that placed several of the man’s gems in context and allowed us to compare them with their contemporarily constructed neighbors, and with the architecture that appeared later. I enthusiastically recommend the tour and Pia as guide. Brava!!!

We tell everyone this was one of our favorite experiences in Barcelona. This is a very educational tour, almost like a college lecture, led by an actual professional architect. The information was very helpful for understanding and appreciating the city and planning other activities. The tour attracts curious, educated, participants so we were able to meet other people interested in art and architecture. The tour is very well planned with breaks and presentations along the route. Your guide will also show you maps and historical photographs so you have a better understanding. The walking is easy and our guide was fascinating. You will learn much more about Gaudi and Barcelona on this tour than you will from touring any of the Gaudi houses. If we could have stayed in Barcelona longer we would have taken more tours from this group.

I studied engineering and architecture in school 30+ years ago, so it's been a dream to come to Barcelona and experience Gaudi. This week my dream came true, and while reading a book or informational signs or getting a general tour is nice for background information, to truly understand the buildings, the architects, and the designers, and most importantly understand the "why?", you need a tour by an expert. Pia did a wonderful job leading our group of 11 on the Gaudi Tour, providing earphones for folks to ensure they'd be able to hear her on the sometimes noisy city streets, and making the 3-hours fly by. I think most of us would have continued following her around the city and listening to her stories for several more hours. She put the history of the area into context, added in building code requirements, as well as the water and sewer infrastructure, and had boards with maps and photos along the way. There was so much I learned, it was hard to take it all in, but I loved every minute of it. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I will definitely take another tour from this firm. They are top notch, and well worth it.

Our tour guide was exceptionally friendly and intelligent. She took the time to draw examples of architectural concepts and explain details of engineering. We were very lucky to have a College Professor show us around.
