Visiting Lecce was already breathtaking, then coupled with Mr Luigi Bianco's insights, explanations and amusing chronicles made it even more memorable. His delivery was engaging, fruitful and kept us wanting for more information and historical details. He made us and another couple (so it was quite an intimate group) comprehend Lecce's architectural (internal and external), religious and historical value. Two hours just flew by. I really wouldn't have minded at all if it had been longer! Mr Bianco was brilliant - highly recommended!

This was by far one of the best tours I’ve ever did. The tour comprised only 4 persons, so it was an intimate one, and most importantly, it included persons who are genuinely interested in the history and culture of Lecce’s baroque architecture. Our tour guide, Mr Luigi Bianco, was excellent - the tonality of his voice and the way he animated the tour captures you immediately, as are the little highly interesting (and sometimes funny as well) anecdotes thrown randomly. He is extremely knowledgeable about the subject, and he gave us valid insight at each stop. Can’t recommend him enough, and this is truly the first time I’m giving full stars in each category, from start to finish.

We were very fortunate to have had Max as our tour guide. We began with a quick tour of the "underground" Jewish museum and learned how the synagogue became a church, then a home, and evolved into the Jewish museum. It was not an easy journey for the researchers to uncover the origins of the Jewish community in Lecce. Today, no Jews reside in the city and there was no local source for the history. Next, we learned about the exterior of the beautiful Cathedral de Santa Croce and went inside for more history and glorious photos. Max lead us past the Roman colosseum and its discovery and excavation. Nearby was the grand column that was adorned with St. Oronzo, the adjacent early church and city hall, city walls, amphitheater, the duomo, and so many other tidbits of interest about Lecce. Max's English was perfect and he was cautious for our safety. Plus, he was always open for conversation and questions. Since we were traveling in the off-season of mid-March, we had a private tour that was well worth it.

Our English speaking walking tour was comprehensive and informative. Our guide Max was fluent in English and knowledgeable about everything we saw or had questions about…and we had many questions. We were very pleased with doing our tour through this company.

My tour would have been much better if my guide. Maria, knew more historical details about both Turin and its architecture.
