This was off the beaten path and one of our FAVORITE spots we saw in Rome. The scale of the baths is so impressive. Walking through it and the grounds - imagining what it was like back in the day - was very cool! We walked up to the booth and bought tickets right then, no problems. Would highly recommend adding this spot to your "things to see" list in Rome!

We were sold tickets and then sent a link to tickets that didn’t work! We had to pay again at the gate to the excursion! Viator refuses to refund our money because the link to tickets works now! Don’t deal with them!!!!

I was unable to obtain my tickets through any of the links provided by Rome Tours. When I asked how to access my tickets I was told “These are the tickets. Bye”. Neither I nor the official at the park were able to access tickets through any of the correspondence from Rome Tours or Viator. I sent a message to Rome Tours while at the entrance to the park but didn’t receive a reply. I had to purchase new tickets for 5 people to replace the tickets I had already paid for. I sent a request to Viator for a refund but they wouldn’t acknowledge that there was a problem. The customer service from both these companies is nonexistent and I will never deal with either of them again.

I purchased the Virtual reality ticket which cost €22 - booked through Coopculture (official website). The virtual reality visor was easy to use, they give you a set of instructions. The virtual reality reconstructs what the site would have looked like. The site isn't very big and they only let you keep the visor for an hour. You can reach the site easily, it's just south of Circo Massimo (Metro Line B).

One of the highlights of our vacation in Rome! No crowds, casual stroll through the baths using a virtual viewer to take in the beauty that was once the Baths at Caracalla. Interesting ruins to visit, amazing with the viewer.

Using the travel agency was completely in vain. Book your ticket from the official website, or maybe just turn up at the entrance to the site to save money. The communication with the agent was nice, but there really was no service worth paying more than double the price.

Don’t use TripAdvisor or Rome Tours, the tour operator. Never got the ticket. Paid again at the gate

Absolutely loved this experience! The ruins of the baths are fascinating. There are mosaics and parts of sculpture left that let you imagine what it all must have been like in its heyday. We did the audio tour which was just a phone with a layout that you clicked on to hear about each room. The narration was good with lots of interesting facts to bring the ruins alive. Managing the phone while trying to juggle a camera was a pain. A head set would have been better. Still worth it and one of my fave experiences in Rome.

They sold us tickets for an unavailable day. We went there and we saw a notice regarding the closure of the place due to maintenance. We asked for a refund they refused it.
