This tour was really poor. It was not as described on the website (no cured meat, no cheeses, limited wine tasting) and the tour guide was quite inappropriate in her comments - we didn’t want to hear about her life throughout the tour. We have done for tours in many European cities and this one was, by far, the worst. I would NOT recommend it.

This food tour of Nice with dinner was cancelled late in the morning on the day of the tour. The person who called to inform that gave about 6 different reasons why they needed to cancel last minute. With so many excuses it just was not believable. Additionally, I checked at that point (and again later that day) and it was still possible to sign up for that (cancelled) tour tonite so if anyone booked last minute they were in for a (bad) surprise. This company doesn’t seem to care about it’s reputation, business or the travelers who pay for their expensive tours. Several other posts mentioned them cancelling other times and I should have heeded that warning. There are many options in the area and I would recommend looking else where.

My husband and I had an amazing time!! The tour guide was incredibly accommodating, energetic and a ball of pure positive energy. She was knowledgeable and quite funny. The food and wine was authentic and delicious. I recommend this tour!

My tour was canceled hours before it was to have commenced. While they did contact me via text, I had to phone them repeatedly, to find a replacement (no luck) and I still have not gotten a refund or email addressing such..

How about you don’t cancel at the very last minute? That would be really nice. This was a horrible experience and ruined my Nice evening plans for the very late notice of cancelation. I still tried to give it another shot the next day, and you canceled on me again. I have done food tours with this company in the past, but never again...this was extremely unprofessional.

Our guide was lovely but gave little history... We had to constantly ask what things were. Most of the food was below average and the wine wasn't great. Based on my experience of similar tours with other companies, I'm very disappointed and my gut retches at the thought of the price.

Mary (sp) did a fantastic job interjecting the history of Nice with proceeding on our tour. We stopped at two confectioneries, a wonderful olive oil store, local tapas cafe, shared in the local food of socca and gelato at our last of 6 stops. In addition, we had wine at a few of the cafes as well. One really learns the lay of Old Town when experiencing excellent food/candy choices. Don’t miss this one!!
