JImmy was great! Humor and history included. This tour included with the Discover Berlin tour gives you a thorough history of the city, especially for the last 200 years.

The intricate web of history, Old Europe politics and of course religion’s part to the story. The complexity of Berlin’s history, particularly the 20th century.

Artie, our tour guide, was well read. He shared informative, interesting facts and photos regarding the various sites he led us to in a timely manner. However his personal interaction with the people in our group of seven adults could have been warmer. His initial announcement that we were very lucky to have him as our tour guide because his tour was the best was a very egotistical remark. He led us from site to site without turning around to see if anyone in his group was missing or lost. We all managed to keep up, but Artie's uncaring manner was noticed. I would have given this experience an excellent rating otherwise.

Our guide, Gregor, did an outstanding job explaining various Third Reich events and how they affected the population during that period. He helped everyone to think about how the people got drawn into the Nazi Party schemes and how they reacted after the war was decided. He also helped us to understand how the war continues to affect Germany today. Gregor was very easy to be with and we highly recommend this tour.
