For our 30th wedding anniversary, we traveled to one of our favorite places, San Diego, CA ... we are an active couple and have had great experiences in other cities, doing eBike tours. Thru TripAdvisor, we noticed that the "Best of San Diego eBike Tour" was mentioned most of the time, as being the best in San Diego ... We were staying at The Pendry Hotel, which was right around the corner, and only a 4 min walk. We introduced ourselves, and Raul, the owner, greeted us with warmth and friendliness. He introduced our tour guide, Daniel, and began to go thru the quick document signage. Raul then began to go over the safety, and operation of the eBikes .. very simple !!!! Daniel began the tour with a quick description of the area we would be covering. It was no time at all, that I would become extremely impressed with this young man's knowledge of not just present day San Diego, but the complete history from it's beginning. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour being out and about anyway, but Daniel's knowledge and excitement for what we were seeing, made it a top notch experience. The 2.5 hours went by very quickly, and we were actually disappointed when it was over ... the only negative I could possibly mention, would be the eBike seat comfort. They seem to be stock brand seats, which are not usually geared towards comfort. I was not bothered as much as my wife, but could still feel the lack of comfort, especially for 2.5 hours. With that minor issue aside, the tour was absolutely wonderful, and Daniel and Raul made it that way

We had the best time! Totally recommend this tour as we were able to see a lot of San Diego in a short period of time. We loved the e-bikes which made the trip easier for all of us. Our tour guide Zac was excellent. He gave us a great overview of the history of San Diego and recommended other places to visit and restaurants to try. We will be back!!

A great way to explore the city on our first trip to San Diego! I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting! The e-bikes were easy to operate and so much fun!

The tour was cancelled because of lack of guides, i received a text to ask me to phone and no one from the office picks up!! So, i turned up and the very kind manager Raul took me out and we had a super tour. I had paid for 2 ½ hours and only had 1 ½ hour guided tour and no offer of a refund. On balance Raul was great, the bikes excellent but value and organisation i found low.

I was in SD for a long weekend and decided to explore via e-bike w/ my husband. Zac was our guide and he was AMAZING! We hit up all the must see stops near downtown, Balboa Park, and the Marina district. Zac's knowledge of the city, it's founding, and not to mention all the best places to eat and go out :) really made the tour memorable and fun. I'll definitely be returning to SD, and this time I'll take the Coronado or La Jolla e-bike tour with U.B. Book this tour, you won't regret it. Also, the tour is great for all people and activity levels and ages... The ebike motors are no joke!

What a friendly crew at UBSD! Their electric bikes are safe and easy to use, and are a must try. This was way more fun than the GoCar we tried, and the UBSD tour experience is better, too. Our guide, Keith, gave us an excellent tour of the harbour, Balboa Park and downtown, packed with interesting information. He was great for taking photos of us when we were too dazzled to remember ourselves! They even recommended the perfect spot for lunch afterward. Such great service!

I’m not an active person so I was reluctant to join my family on this tour, but the electric bike made it super easy and fun to whizz around. The tour guys’ enthusiasm for the city's history was contagious and he kept a great pace. Having the tour guide was definitely worth the little extra it cost over just the bike rental.
