Castle was amazing what a location . But then again Emperors and capitalists always what they want hey! Don’t bother pre booking as we could have got tickets there. They said tickets would arrive via email never did.

Timing was perfect and we had a Wonderful visit at Miramar. Miramar is History. The only problem is to find the toilet.

Beautiful house and grounds, well worth going. Near Trieste transit bus routes 6 & 36 from the center city.

The castle and surrondings are beautiful, however,Viator charge double the price. I recommend buying the entrance ticket on the castle's website.

We paid for a "self guided" tour of Miriamare Castle which included English headset. When we arrived at the ticket office, they made us pay for the headsets (even though I showed them our ticket) we did not want to argue with them. We never received an official confirmation from the business (they stated will send an email) which never arrived. Viator was fine as far as sending us updates to the tour, however the most important email did not arrive which caused complications at the ticket office. I only gave it a 2 rating because of the poor communication of the vender. (that cost doubled the price of the tour for us) I recommend just buying the tickets at the castle. Much easier (and cheaper)

Total scam! Castle itself was beautiful, but there was no Trip Advisor guide to be seen for the entry I had booked at 14:30 pm, and after paying 34 euros for our tickets to Trip Advisor, we had to beg our way in by negotiating with the ticket office! We paid 34 euros for a visit that should have cost 20 euros for two people, max! And I never received email confirmation of our Trip reservation…The Castle Miramare representative said that Trip Advisor created a recurrent problem of this kind. We should in fact be fully reimbursed or at least the 14 euros we paid for absolutely nothing but trouble….:-( Sincerely yours.

I am extremely disappointed with the service when buying tickets through the platform ТripАdvisor! I paid for tickets days ago on 21.08.21. I haven't received tickets yet. The offer does not inform you when you will receive the tickets after you pay for them. Nowhere does it say in how many days you will receive the paid tickets. This way you will be worried and you will not know whether you will have tickets or not for the requested date and time.

Fantastic views of the Gulf of Trieste. The castle is very nice. The grounds are beautiful. The only challenge is getting to the castle. Very narrow roadways and limited parking make it a challenge to get to the entrance.
