The tour guide due to rain did not meet us at the location as promised. Instead she called 15 minutes after we left the museum and asked where we were instead of saying she was inside instead of on the front steps. She said it was too windy and rainy to stand outside while all the other tour operators were with umbrellas in hand. Worst company for Rome.

For me the Bernini scultures. The best is Apolo y Dafne. The place is beautifull its a nice palace to visit

The collection of the Gallery is timeless and while I love visiting the organisation at the gallery sometimes leaves me bewildered. My first visits way in the past were frustrating with a lack of signage and photography forbidden with very stern attendants always ready to pounce! While this side has now improved my frustration this trip with how the gallery set up their brilliant Rubens exhibition. The exhibition itself is set up with Rubens’ works placed alongside the art that often informed or inspired it with excellent signage throughout. The problem was all visitors are directed to start their tour on the top floor when the exhibition is set up to start on the first floor - this leaves you experiencing things in reverse order! Despite these little frustrations please go for a visit but make sure you book well ahead as it is much loved by the locals who know to book early.

The company itself were rude and unhelpful and the tickets were 3 times the price of at the Borghese. But Monica the representative who helped us with tickets once we were there was so sweet and great and saved the day

The Berninis and the Caravaggios are the absolute highlights of the gallery; but this is not to detract from the other treasures on view: the mosaics, the Canovas, and the picture gallery with exquisite Raphaels, Carraccis, Titians, Rubens, and many others… and a walk through the grounds and gardens is a delight.

I do not recommend using Tripadvisor. I ordered tickets to Borghese museum Rome but Tripadvisor would not let me access the tickets to enter the museum. Museum staff phoned Tripadvisor who were not interested to help. Tripadvisor charged €133 whereas museum would have cost €60. I would never use Tripadvisor again. Unhelpful, expensive and a waste of money

The Borghese Gallery is usually sold out so one must make a reservation months in advance. Viator was our best and only option. The Viator rep was exactly where we were told to meet her and was able to get in for a great tour. I highly recommend a visit to the museum for anyone who has a love of history and or famous art work.

NO memorable experience. It was a nightmare. We booked tickets for three adults ,l but we have a kid together with us. We asked what we have to do for her. The answer was "for children it's free", but when we arrived at the entrance they asked for ticket even for the kid -"yes it's free, but you need ticket" got this answer. So calling the number written on the Viator message (tour operator -rome tours) we got a crazy answer : they don't have tickets for children and told me a very long and stupid story about "how difficult is life". Finally we found there another local provider who, for 29.49 euro, sold us a normal ticket (for adult) in order to get access to the gallery. Question for you : who will give me back this amount of money? If you need other information , please ask. The booking reference BR-1011085709 Otherwise a very beautiful museum.

Rome Tour agent didn’t show up with our tickets. After 5 tries, got through to Rome Tours and they kindly spoke to ticket office to give us tickets to enter. Enjoyed the museum, once we recovered from the stress.
