Not impressed with this experience, regular cost of an entry ticket is 18euros. We paid double the price for skip the line option that was not required. The audio guide was useless, the numbers did not correspond to exhibits. This experience requires a live guide.

This is such a great way to visit Pompeii as you can plan your own route around it choosing which bits to look at and which to ignore. Great if you are short of time or the weather is too hot. You simply downloaded the app onto your phone and away you go. If there are two or more of you it is possible to run the app aloud from your phone so that you can all listen in at the same time. Or you can pop your ear buds in and listen in separately. Perfect!

The pick up point was not convenient 20 minutes from Pompeii train station and we were unable to get equipment for audio tour.

I paid more for skip the line. I still had to wait in line because they did not have a specific line for it. Not true statement of “skip the line”.

The tickets were a convenient pickup at the local nearby train station. The booth was easy to find and had friendly helpful staff. The audio guide worked based on GPS positions within Pompeii ans was easy to use.

I bought this ticket expecting to be sent a QR code but instead I was sent an address to collect the tickets, After an hours train journey to reach Pompeii I was informed it was still another 20 minute walk to the place to collect the tickets with Would obviously mean another 20 minute walk back to the ruins I chose to buy tickets at the ruins instead as my wife has MS and uses a walking stick so couldn't of managed the extra 40 minute hike My advice would be buy tickets at the ruins it's far easier and the queues were relatively small also the price is practically the same

This was totally fine because we only had about 60 minutes in Pompeii before we had to catch a train but I don’t think I’d recommend it to anyone EXCEPT if they’re going in the busy season. You do technically “skip the line” but the office to redeem the vouchers is about a 15-20 minute walk away so I don’t think it’s worth it unless there’s a really long line and if the site is super busy. The audio tour was okay but all of Pompeii is set up with numbers for their own audio tour and next time we go we’ll definitely be getting the sites version instead of this one. Overall it was fine but if the site isn’t that busy just go get their version instead.

Our audio didn't work for both my husband and I. When we return then the tourist company had no care factor. I complained to viatour who also had no care factor. Disappointing . I've used and have more tours book with them and after the no care in regards to me letting them know how bad it I was, I'll be reconsidering who I use for future bookings.

Paid for a skip the line ticket for me and my husband as we had our 2 year old with us so queuing would have been difficult. We came from Naples especially for this activity and arrived to pick up the tickets from the location that was a good 20mins walk away from the venue,which was fine but only to be told the printer was not working so they could not give me a ticket. No alternative offered initially and they tried to charge me just for the audio tour which I explained was not what I wanted if I did not have skip the line. After a lot of back and forth for over 30minutes flitting between giving me a refund or fixing the problem they managed to get someone to bring a ticket from the Pompeii site. Whilst the women were trying to be helpful in the end it was a terrible experience and we arrived to the ruins a lot later than we hoped so we had less time to look around. I asked to not do the audio tour and just take the skip the line tickets, so we did not have to come back to the pick up location and exchange the audio devices for the ID they kept as deposit, this would mean we could take the time back to look around the ruins and not rush back before the ticket pick up office closed but they said no to that too. The audio tour was not the best, 2/5. We’ve done many of these before so overall a bad experience, it may be a one off in general but there was hardly any flexibility shown to make up for the problem so overall it was lacking. Would not recommend.
