The business district offers a completely different version of Paris. From the top of the Arch you get wonderful views of the city and there are deckchairs where you can relax if the weather is nice. The shop is very imited and the cafe closed.

Just another tourist trap. 16eur just to take an elevator up. To use the telescopes, you needed to pay again. Nothing else to offer (just a few scattered chairs) on a rotten deck. Don't bother!

This unique holed-cubed building is one of the more understated attraction in Paris as it continues to live in the shadows of the other more famous towers, monuments and museums. Located at Paris’ business district housing numerous big French corporations, the Grande Arche de la Defense is worth a visit for 3 reasons - it is less crowded, the entrance fee is a fraction of its more famous rivals, and the views (from 110m) which include the district’s skyscrapers are equally spectacular. This attraction is included as part of the Paris Pass, so Paris Pass holders should try to accommodate this attraction into their itinerary.

the view over l'Esplanade de la Defence is remarkable; actually, that view is to the Triumph Arch and even more, to Luvru Museum of course, the view to Eiffel Tower and also to Montparnasse Tower is also very nice; actually, the whole Paris could be seen from the top of La Grande Arche there are places to rest, but the accessibility is not good, there are stairs to be climbed you could see art there, there is always a temporary exhibition there is a coffee shop, also, so the rest could be complete

The view from this place is not so great, but it is a nice relaxing area with beach chairs and mattresses. The angle it has to Eiffel Tower is covered by a big building behind it.

I was there today with my 6 months old child, and though the view is great, the place needs to do a lot about accessibility, starting by training staff. The me of a year ago would have scored it 5 stars. Love the concrete jungle vibe, the architecture, the cool photo exhibition and... The view. But new me with a baby is disappointed. Disappointed that when I called because I couldn't find the lift to access the main platform, all I had was a "I don't know how to explain". So I carried my pram up to the entry... I wonder what would have happened to a disabled person. Then to go down, I asked to use the lift that I had finally found, to be told that it is only for people with disabilities and I have to use the elevetor... I don't want to be unfair though, the guy that took us all the way up was very nice, and security officers at the top brilliant!

I've been to Paris many times but this was my first visit to the Grand Arch. The modern business building on the outskirts of the main city had never appealed to me but the trip out was worth the visit. Buy a ticket to the skydeck, which takes you to the very top. The glass elevator outside the building allows you to watch your trip up and down -- if you're not petrified of heights, that is. At the top was a lovely photography exhibit featuring portraits of famous people. Outside, were views of the surrounding area as well as the city center of Paris. Food and drinks are available at the top. Afterward, check out the mall or the FNAC music store if you're in the mood for a little shopping!
