Take the time to see this crypt and walk around the town. Worth going outside of Barcelona. Amazing architecture and interesting history.

My 9-year-old son and I went as a recommendation from a friend I met in Barcelona. I'm so glad she told me or I never would have discovered this place. It's a hidden gem, especially since there are no crowds. We were inside by ourselves at one point. I think it's not as popular because it took us an hour via metro to get there, but it was worth it to see the crypt. The town itself has some unique and beautiful buildings as well. We've seen many of Gaudi's works and this is in our top 3.

This tour was only memorable because of the Gaudi crypt. It was interesting to see from where he came; in that the crypt was his first 'gig'. From there, he showed he 'had something' and went to Barcelona with so many projects he never came back to finish the project of the crypt. It is an audio tour. It is a long way off the beaten path and only worth it for the Gaudi enthusiasts, like us.

Magnificent cultural beautiful historic place to spend some hours of your day. I can truly reccomended this place to every one who visit Barcelona and wants to step out the beautiful architectural visits in Barcelona city. It s only 30 min away by train from Plaça España metro station, and plenty of trains. You ll be very impressed of what you ll find at Colonia Guell , like time slowed down here. Reccommend Audio visit or a guide. Then you can refresh yourself in one if the bars you ll find here.

A picturesque town filled with beautiful architecture and history with the centre piece of the Güell crypt. Highly recommend the 1.5-2 hour audio guide to stroll at your own pace

This is the most expensive and worthless visit I’ve been to in a while. The €9.50 ticket will allow you entry to the very small, unfinished church + audioguide. The rest to the town can be visited without a ticket. The town is nice to visit: 10min. Definitely not worth the price!

If you love architecture you must go and visit the Crypt. It is small, but is magnificent and, because not to many people go, it is usually quite empty. You can see real design in here, from the columns and the beams, through the furniture, etc. The museum only shows a bit of history, some pictures, etc. Also, please remember you are helping a small community.

Straightforward service at Info Counter and then left to guide oneself with map provided and audio guide. Enjoyable low key ramble. The crypt has a magnificent ambience.

An easy trip by train from Estacion España, this half day trip gives a chance to get out of the centre of Barcelona to the outskirts. The Colonia itself, as well as the crypt ( actually a small church) is also interesting as promoted the idea of better living and working conditions for factory staff. Amongst the houses on the colony are a few notable modernista works by lesser known architects of the period. As for Gaudi’s unfinished church. Remarkable. Not a right angle in the place. The famed art critic and historian Robert Hughes called it perhaps the greatest internal space in Europe. Judge for yourself but certainly special.

The crypt is beautiful and you can get a ticket to see only that. There is nothing else. All the buildings that housed the colonia employees, factory, school etc are all privately owned and people live in them, so they are literally charging for you to be able to walk into the town and look at a few buildings from the outside. BTW you can do just that without paying anything. The have a small exhibition in the building where you by the tickets but all in all not worth it, sees almost like a scam. They should tell you in advance there are no buildings you are allowed to go into except the church. I bet most people wouldn´t pay, I know I wouldn´t have. THIEVES!!! LADRONES!!!!! LES TIENEN QUE DECIR A LA GENTE ANTES QUE COMPREN SUS BILLETES QUE NO HAY NINGUN EDIFICIO EN QUE SE PUEDA ENTRAR. ES UN ROBO, NO VAYAN.
