This is a must do on the first day! I arrived in Rome in the morning and booked for the 1600 tour best thing I could have done! Silvia was an amazing guide not only explaining the history of craft beer and obviously taking me to those hidden gems for a tipple. She took time to pop into buildings, courtyards and walkways and showed me the hidden gems that most tourists haven’t heard of! Amazing tour but a more amazing knowledgeable tour guide! 🙏 next time I’m in Rome I will definitely be booking the food tour!

This tour was awesome! The guide knew so much about beer and about history and architecture too! We had a blast and totally recommend this tour to anyone thinking about giving it a go.

Silvia was a fantastic host! We visited three different beer bars near the center of Rome and all were great! One was very historical (the founders of Peroni actually opened it!) one was more modern and had a wide selection of craft beers, and the final one was more intimate and at the time we visited, had Cantillon on tap!!! Silvia was personable, explained a good deal about beer in Italy as well as a brief history of the areas we visited, and was very passionate about food in general! This is definitely an experience you want to take part in while in Rome if you enjoy beer and visiting local places that actual Romans go to, not tourists!

Our hosts was amazing, she was very knowledgeable regarding beer, but also had great knowledge about the history, including the architecture. We had a great time and recommended to anyone thinking of taking this tour

We enjoyed our beer walk around Rome and Trastevere. Covered off three different spots. Especially glad to have Open Baladin on the list as we ended up returning here for more beer and dinner. Alex was a great guide - super flexible about a delayed start time (as we were coming directly from a different tour). Also gave us a lot of great info and was friendly. Great evening - grazie!

This tour should be called having some beers with a cool Italian. Alex loves his culture, is knowledgeable about beer and I got the feeling of hanging with someone who understands the Rome craft beer scene, and a generally fun guy. It’s not the buttoned up tour you may have with other tours. Just go with it. Ask him questions, let him pick your beers and just enjoy Rome.

A lovely spring afternoon. Started from Piazza Venezia, we went to birificcio Peroni where we had a taste of reserva beer and heard stories about the neighborhood, we then moved to Baladin where we tried 3 different beers and had a snack (the birreria is very hidden) the guide showed us a a fountain in a small courtyard nearby there while giving us a lot of info sab out what to do in town. We ended up in a very cosy and particular beer place very crowded where we also made some friends from the local crowd . PS when in Baladin ask for Rock’N’Roll that beer was great.
