    I strongly recommend the Tjasa & Tobi team. During our hike I learned about many aspects of the nature and culture of this particular region. We had some great views of the ocean. And the valley that opened up was unexpectedly stunning. All together a great day. Thank you a lot !

    One morning, we embarked on an unforgettable hike from Eros to Los Silos, and we had a truly wonderful experience. For me, the hike was tailor-made because we were mostly descending, which suits me perfectly. Despite the downhill nature of the hike, it was still quite challenging. At the beginning of the trail, we enjoyed the forest, observing diverse vegetation, from cactus to pine trees. The path through the forest allowed us to breathe in fresh air and experience the serenity of nature. After some time descending, a beautiful valley suddenly opened up, at the end of which lies Los Silos. Enormous rocks, shaped by lava, and black caves simply took our breath away. This area gave a sense that everything was very much alive. Towards the end of the trail, we headed to the waterfalls, which required some minor ascents on a path occasionally obstructed by thorns. However, it was worth it as, when we climbed massive rocks, we arrived at the so-called "stairs to heaven," as named by our friendly guides. Of course, we also refreshed ourselves with the water. After a snack, we made our way to Los Silos, where we witnessed completely different vegetation compared to what we had seen above. The feeling of freshness and the diversity of plant life were magical. In the end, we waited for a while for the bus that took us back to Puerto de la Cruz. For someone who isn't an avid hiker, this was a truly fantastic experience that allowed me to feel the life of this beautiful island. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone looking to experience the natural beauty of Tenerife and immerse themselves in the charms of this wonderful destination.

    Erjos

    We go by local bus (Guagua) up to the small village Erjos at a height over the ocean of 1000 meters. Here our hiking journey begins. We walk through different vegetation zones - the forest soon becomes more dense. We follow the trail, and listen to the bird world. Strange rock formations and deep ravines appear. The world of the black caves soon opens up in its full beauty. We walk down and come into the Cochina Valley.

    Barranco de los Cochinos

    In the Barranco de los Cochinos we walk into the valley until a little waterfall. stunning formations of rock and mountain line our way. the vegetation is like a djungle. After we have to go back to the entry of the valley.

    Los Silos

    From now the valley opens and beautiful farms are lining on the way. We slowly reeach the little and beautiful town of Los Silos. Lets have a round and sit in a cafe house in the green center of that town. After enjoying that typical canarian town we go back to Puerto de la Cruz by bus.
