What to expect
Spiaggia dei Frati
It is located northern to the Port of Numana, after the Spiaggiola. A small paradise of fine gravel with transparent water, framed by the green of the Conero Park and the white limestone rock. It is ideal for swimming and some snorkeling. Between the two beaches the Cetacean Foundation sometimes place a net to form a cove where the turtles are placed, previously cured, before being released. A few meters from the shore there is a rock called Sasso del Bo’.
Spiaggia Urbani
It is the beach of Sirolo. It is located right on the slopes of the village. It is in a lovely inlet where there is a beautiful natural cave. A small pier of protection contributes to make it very suggestive.
Spiaggia di San Michele
Very wide beach reachable on foot from the nearby Urbani beach or from the paths of the public park of Sirolo. This beach has an intense blue color of the sea, white stones and behind it the beautiful frame of the mountain.
Spiaggia dei Sassi Neri
Stretch of coast, mainly characterized by pink rock, which extends to the north of the beach of San Michele, with transparent seabed immediately deep and characterized by dark rocks that give the name to the beach. The thick Mediterranean vegetation comes almost to the shore giving life to a fantastic landscape.
Spiaggia Delle Due Sorelle
Accessible only by sea due to a municipal ordinance that prohibits access to the only path called “Passo del Lupo” because very difficult. The beach is made of pebbles and stones and takes its name from the two large rocks that watch over the beach called “Le Due Sorelle” (The Two Sisters). From the north they look like two sisters with hands joined in prayer. The water is transparent, crystal, clear and the unspoilt environment.
Spiaggia dei Forni
Spiaggia dei Forni e Spiaggia dei Gabbiani Close to the Due Sorelle Beach stretches this corner of paradise reachable only by sea. Two small coves characterized by white pebbles and crystal clear backdrop, a real piece of heaven. Towards evening the winged inhabitants of Spiaggia dei Gabbiani come to reclaim their enchanted place.
Spiaggia della Vela
This small stretch of hidden beach takes its name from the large cliff in the shape of a sail. Some daredevils dive from the middle or from the top that reaches about 10m in height. The beach is characterized by rocks and white pebbles surrounded by transparent waters.
Baia di Portonovo
It is a bay completely immersed in the nature of the Conero Park. Crystal clear waters with stony seabed and breathtaking views. From the sea you can admire the Romanesque Church of Santa Maria, the Clementine Tower and the Napoleonic Fort.
Spiaggia Mezzavalle
Wide and deep beach to the north of the Bay of Portonovo close to a lush emerald green vegetation. Completely wild, without equipped facilities. It is characterized by fine gravel with sandy and sloping seabed. After Mezzavalle, we'll stop for a bath at Scoglio del Trave, a rocky tongue that stretches into the sea for a kilometer inside the waters of the Adriatic Sea. For its first part this rock emerges in the sea surface and forms a natural barrier, very dangerous for less experienced vessels that get too close to the coast. Here, we'll also offer a small aperitive tasting a local excellent sparkling wine.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
