Parroquia de la Asuncion de Nuestra Senora
It is one of the most emblematic buildings in Bocairent, where the main characteristics of Valencian art come together, from the Gothic to the 19th century. Built on the old Arab castle, and consecrated in 1516, it was originally made in the Gothic style, and adapted later to the baroque tastes of the moment. We will have the opportunity to enter and let ourselves be captivated by its majestic interior.

Built in 1843, it is the oldest in the Valencian Community. It is a unique and singular piece due to its originality, since it is excavated for the most part in living rock. We will be able to understand more of how it was made, while we explore its corners and details.

We are going to explore the group of cuevas-ventanas, or artificial caves with window-shaped holes, hanging in the middle of a rocky cliff. Located in the Barranc de la Fos, it is the most complex and numerous group, by far, of the entire headwaters of the Clariano river, where there are other small groups in the ravines.
