This is a must do for lovers of art. We could have spent hours and hours roaming. It was an amazing display of sculptures and beautiful artwork!!❤️

The oerson dressed in blue and white that was supposed to be at the right of the main entrance was not there. We were early and there were four of us. After 15 minutes looking for someone in the location nearby dressed as described I texted them as well as company. A man in a white t shirt and blue jeans turned up and said he had been there all along. Patently not true. And since when are jeans and a t shirt without a company logo are a way to identify someone you have bever seen before.

Would rate negative stars if I could. I booked and paid and got confirmation email and then got to the meeting place early and waited for them to get there. I called the number on the itinerary and chatted via Viator and got a response that we couldn’t go in early. Then when the lady finally shows up SHE TELLS ME THERES A PROBLEM and THEY DON’T HAVE TWO TICKETS FOR US. So all that waiting in 100 degree heat for nothing. Also they could have let me know in advance if there was a problem. The galleria was sold out completely and we would have done something different. BAD TOUR OPERATOR! Luckily they gave us a refund pretty quickly. Avoid avoid avoid them.

If I could give zero stars I would because NO ONE MET US AT THE PICKUP POINT TO GIVE US OUR TICKETS. stood in front of galleria borghese for one hour and no one ever showed. Tons of other tour companies were there meeting people who had purchased tickets so I guess I was just unlucky choosing viator. I have tried repeatedly to get in touch with the company to request a refund and it’s impossible. Have started multiple chats and no one replies. If someone with any management authority is reading this please reach out to jessiemyers@gmail.com to rectify this situation. I will be posting my review to other sites shortly.

Incredible beautiful gallery with a lot of historical art. There was a lot of information regarding different art periods and their effects. Sadly, the painting we wanted to see (Caravaggio, Judith beheading Holofernes) was not there (borrowed out to a different museum). I went there together with my boyfriend whick considered this the most impactful part of our trip (and we went to the typical destinations such as the Pantheon, the Vatican and the Sistine chapel). If you go, dont forget to look up on the ceiling, each room has absolutely fantastic artwork on par/better than the actual paintings at times. Would absolutely recommend!

We booked and paid for this tour months in advance and never received the tickets. We called the tour operator and they sent us to Viator who then sent us back to the tour operator but no one could solve the problem. Upon arriving in Rome the tour operator told us to call them back the next day, we called ten times and only got the messaging system that said the voicemail was full. Viator kept sending us emails with a voucher that stated clearly that it was not the tickets and to call the tour operator but upon not getting any response from them we called the client service team at Viator again but they could not solve the problem. We even went to the Borghese Gallery to see if they could help the day of the event. They in turn called the tour operator to try and help. The person that answered said that only her supervisor could send us tickets. So in conclusion we were not able to go to the gallery as all tickets were sold out. Viator should not operate with a system where they cannot deliver tickets and rely on third parties to do so. We received emails from Viator with no problem so our email was not the issue. Not once were we offered to meet someone who could get us the tickets in fact when we first contacted this tour operator they complained that to do so would require them adding additional staff to do so and we needed to take it up with Viator. Overall a terrible experience and we would not recommend it.

The delivery of the actual tickets is very unclear. The tickets were supposed to be emailed to me a couple days prior to date of visit, but they never were. I received several messages linking to vouchers and to the Viator app. They have circular links and all say they are NOT tickets. I tried to contact the tour provider, but got no answer. We went to the Borghese Museum, and spent time with their staff searching for the email that would have the tickets, not finding it, and calling the tour ticket provider and again getting no answer. Eventually the lovely museum staff allowed us to enter without tickets, which they did not have to do... Very frustrating experience through Viator. At a minimum, could be more clear about how the ticketing process is supposed to go, but I still honestly can't tell since we never received our proper museum tickets.

Got sent my ‘tickets’ via email a few days before I travelled. Email titled ‘your tickets are inside’. Happily transferred said ticket to my apple wallet. The same email DID NOT state that this was not a ticket. That it was in fact only a voucher which needed to be exchanged for a ticket. Did not discover this until my ‘ticket’ was rejected at the gallery too late to exchange it by then. Never got to go in. Best part of £70 down the toilet. My advice is don’t book tickets with Tripadvisor - the emails and links are vague, instructions unclear. I haven’t had this disaster with tickets bought elsewhere online.

Borghese Gallery is a must see museum in Rome. I was a little concerned about the ticket purchase process, because all sales are final, but once you get there, and realize the process to trade the voucher for the actual tickets - it was not a problem. Glad I booked in advance as it does sell out.

My wife and I arrived to the meeting point more than 30 minutes before the arranged time and our guide had yet to arrive. When the guide still hadn't arrived 10 minutes beforehand I tried calling. The phone went directly to an answering machine with no possibility of leaving a message. I continued to call for an hour and no one ever showed up or answered. There was not even an option of buying tickets, since the gallery is sold out for the next week.
