The most popular points of interest include Longwood Gardens, home to an assortment of world-class museums and gardens; the Winterthur Museum, Garden, and Library, featuring one of the most important collections of Americana in the US; the Brandywine River Museum, showcasing regional and American art; plus the 300-acre Nemours Mansion and Gardens, and the English-style Rockwood Museum and Park. There are also a number of wineries, like Chaddsford Winery, which provides wine tours and tastings. What made this tour so special was our guide, Adam! We've done many private tours all around the country and the world even, and this was hand's down, our best one yet! Adam's depth of knowledge and the passion in which he shared it with, made for an outstanding experience. My husband is a history buff, so he was in heaven, and I can honestly say I learned so much more, with enthusiasm, than a boring high school history lesson! Also, the scenery was beautiful and it was nice to get out into the countryside a bit, to add an additional appreciation of the Philadelphia area. I highly recommend this tour.

My wife and I were visiting from Australia. The tour was a present from our family as I have limited mobility. We had a wonderful time from start to finish. Our guide/driver (Adam) was polite, punctual, knowledgeable, well spoken and really enhanced our sightseeing. He provided interesting but not overwhelming commentary and was only too happy to speak about peripheral issues such as the Civil War and Gettyburg. Adam was waiting for us before the appointed time at our hotel. Dropped us back at the appointed time. Was unobtrusive but gave us confidence in his desire to see we got full enjoyment from the day. A wonderful experience thank you.

Andy is superior guide and made our trip to Longwood Gardens and Winterhur special. He has a great personality and is very knowledgeable, providing us with the history and background of the area along with a lot of humor. He is very professional and was attentive to or needs. The five of us would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a comprehensive and interesting tour of Brandywine.
