bottlenose, striped, and common dolphins, and encounter shark species that

reduced to scraps, squabbled over by an astonishing array of pelagic seabirds
including albatross, shearwater and petrel species.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. We picked this tour operator due to their commitment to research with marine biologists on board surveying the whales. The staff team on board were so polite and informative (and really kind to those who were suffering from sea sickness). There was a slide show playing on the indoor screens giving information about the geographical area and the orcas.
There was a sense of excitement on board as we set off to the 'hot spot' for seeing the orcas in Bremer Canyon - would we find them today or not? Apparently there have only been 4 days this season when they have not found the orcas so that is a good hit rate. Along the way we saw a pod of Common Dolphins who rode the wake of the boat, a long-nosed fur seal who was waving at us with flipper (!), a juvenile garnet and huge albatross.
Before too long a male orca called Nibbles showed up, followed closely a female from another pod. There was just our boat and one boat from another company and the whales. We were able to spend lots of time in close proximity to the whales, occasionally needing to speed off to a different area in search of more activity as the whales were in stealth mode looking for food. Later in the afternoon, they became more playful, swimming on their backs under the boat. So wonderful to witness.
There was a photographer on board the ship who managed to get some super shots. These were emailed through to us the following day, along with a report by the marine biologist about the whales we had seen which was lovely.
Please note - I strongly advise taking good sea sickness tablets before the trip. The waters were apparently "not that choppy" on our visit but at least 7 people were being sick at various points.

From the moment you step on board the welcome is fantastic. When we arrived at Bremer Canyon it was awesome to see the Orcas. The pod were herding around looking for food. They also were surrounding the boat at times which was an amazing experience. Food and drinks were great and constant throughout the day. Crossy and his crew made sure your day was fabulous. Photos by Jade and Todd completed the experience.

Great craft manufactured for this type of tour, plenty of viewing areas and levels.
Unfortunately did not see orcas until 230pm but then the team came into action, spotters finding them the skipper getting closer and the crew directing us which way to look.
A little expensive but with all refreshments supplied and a Dropbox download of photos taken on the day well worth it.
A long but enjoyable day

Fantastic day we had 4 pods of orcas, saw the first pod within the first 5 minutes in entering the hotspot.
To top it off Albatross and a huge pod of Pilot whales, dolphins and a friendly waving seal on Glasse Island.
Staff were great friendly and full of knowledge.
This was on my bucket list and did not disappoint so incredible seeing the Orcas so close in the wild.

Fabulous trip. Magnificent staff, with special mention to Beth for picking us up at the caravan park so we didn’t have to pack up everything in Motorhome to get to the wharf. We saw lots of orca and even 2 blue whales. Amazing

An incredible experience ticked off my bucket list.
Very well coordinated, with super lovely staff members. The crossing out to the canyon was rather choppy, with plenty of sick bags being used, including myself for a while, but this did not spoil the fabulous experience of seeing many many Orcas, getting up to an array of antics, including quite a lot of flirting 😉
A running commentary from the captains bridge was very informative and helped us see all the action and learn the different names these incredible creatures have been given and why.
For all those who were green around the gills, the staff looked after with genuine care. I was sat out on the back deck, on a beanbag, with a cup of ice chips to help with the nausea. Once we got to the canyon, it was a lot flatter and I was soon enjoying the delicious and varied platters the staff were bringing round. There was plenty of food for all and we even got a glass of bubbles or beer on the journey home, which was a lovely way to finish the day.

Had an amazing day with Naturaliste Charters for their Orca tour. It's a long day but it went quickly. When hoping to see wildlife, you never really know what the day will bring. We saw many, many Orcas and pilot whales, we saw a predation, which was incredible and some bonus seals right at the end. Couldn't have asked for a better day.
The crew were all wonderful and knowledgeable (who knew that wandering albatross are not just chill looking seagulls!), the food was plentiful, fresh and delicious. They provide a photographer and all the photos of the day, which frees you up to soak in the experience. There was lots of room to move around the boat.
Take their advice regarding sea sickness tablets and you'll have a great time.

What an incredible day indeed!! Absolutely exceeded expectations. The incredible sealife was abundant and we were so fortunate to experience this in the Bremer canyon. Thank you so much to all the staff & crew involved in ensuring our day was as epic is it could be. We did the tour 9th April 2024. Apparently the sea swell was normal but my partner and I were literally sick all 8 hours.
Jade and a lad took care of us mopping up leaking vomit from my sick bags. My partner was hanging over the side of the boat for his.
They gave us some anti nausea drugs that didn't help. NOTE We took all the recommended sea sick medication the night before and morning etc.
We did not eat a single morsel or drink anything but a bit of water all day.
Thanks Jade. Very helpful.
After all that NO ORCAS. No other marine life. That's nature. We understand.
I've wanted to see orcas for years so it's not a choice not to redo. It's physically impossible.
HOWEVER the company policy to NOT REFUND is appalling.
Lots of our group are doing their repeat today. We can barely function let alone get back on a boat.
Yes, we can do another tour BUT clearly we aren't built for the sea. Our DNA won't change in 1 year or 2. Some others were sick but only briefly.
I reached out directly to the office for some compassion in extenuating circumstances and they will not refund.
