Your Itinerary

Brooklyn Heights

(Pass by)

This tour begins in the heart of Brooklyn Heights (literally “the heights of Brooklyn”), a pleasant residential area that stands out for the tranquility and beauty of its streets. You can admire superb terraced houses in red sandstone (brownstones) and authentic mansions dating from before the American Civil War! Architectural qualities that made it the first neighborhood protected by the New York City Monuments Conservation Commission.

Brooklyn Bridge Park

(Pass by)

The Brooklyn Heights Promenade offers magnificent views of the East River and the Manhattan skyline. An experience that will extend naturally when you enter Brooklyn Bridge Park, which can be said without exaggeration as one of the most photogenic green spaces in the city.

Dumbo

(Pass by)

You will then walk on the cobbled streets of DUMBO, and you will understand how this old industrial area, bought by a billionaire promoter, has become a high place of artistic and cultural creation (there are several art galleries) before attracting world renowned technology start-ups. Luxury real estate, trendy boutiques and restaurants complete the picture of this neighborhood that never stops transforming.

Brooklyn Bridge

(Pass by)

Last but not least, as our American friends say, you will cross the mythical Brooklyn Bridge! The history of this monumental bridge, which has played an essential role in the development of the city, will be revealed to you as you move towards Manhattan, while enjoying a breathtaking panoramic view!

Great tour with a great guide (Fred) Welcoming, smiling, full of good tips and good addresses to advise us. We learned a lot about Brooklyn, as much culturally, historically, as about architecture. We recommend this visit! It was just GREAT!

Great afternoon with Aymeric! This visit remains a highlight of our stay in New York! Aymeric took the time to get to know us and shared his numerous knowledge and anecdotes with us. Despite the unpredictable weather, we Had a great time punctuated by the photo sessions and wise advice. Only one regret, not having booked other visits during the stay!

We were looking for an experience far from mass tourism, in a small group and in French! Bingo!! This is exactly what we found with Voyage en français. So we found ourselves at the meeting place in a group of a dozen French people and set off for a 3.5 hour visit, on foot. Our choices fell on 2 visits, those of Brooklyn and Harlem. The two French expatriate guides Fred and Aymeric were top notch, passionate and committed. We were able to ask them all the questions we wanted. They really take the time for each of us. We saw ideally chosen places, streets, businesses that we would never have imagined existed. A way to discover unusual places that we could not have discovered on our own.

The weather was terrible but even in these conditions, the visit is definitely worth it. We discovered streets and anecdotes and took photos with great viewpoints. The return to the Brooklyn Bridge is to be done. The guide Pauline was very nice. We recommend.

I recommend 100%! Plan a guided tour in your program, nothing is more enriching than comments and historical facts from a guide during a visit to a neighborhood, in this case for us it was Marie and she brought us what We were expecting neither too little nor too little information in terms of information. We didn't notice how much time had passed and she gave us good advice for the rest of our visit to New York.
