    I feel ripped off!!! I understand that the Eurocup was going on, and that probably it was very busy, hence the outrageous prices, but we were so excited, we decided to make that sacrifice. According to the advertisement, we were to be met by a knowledgeable tour guide, and we were to go to 2 castles. It was a private tour, so we were confident in that we would be pleased in the end, even though the price of more than $2,000.00. HOWEVER, we were met at the hotel only by a driver, who had absolutely no idea where we were going, what we were doing...he didn't even share local knowledge on our way or anything. He was really very nice, but absolutely clueless. I thought the itinerary was set, but he kept asking where we were going. We do not know Germany and had no idea where to go or what to do ...THAT IS WHY we booked a tour! The guy could barely speak English, which made everything so much harder. He took us in the end to this tiny Benrath palace, and all he did was get the entrance tickets for us. After we were done, which was pretty quickly, since it is so small, he said he had to be back at the hotel at 4pm and had no time to take us anywhere else. We were fine with that, because we had gone to a Euro game the night before and were tired...but we always assumed we would be reimbursed at least for the part of the "Private tour" we didn't get to make. Also, in the beginning we were going to be 16, so the company ROSOTRAVEL charged my credit card for $171 extra for the extra customer. As soon as that person canceled, about 3 weeks before the tour date, I let them know, and they responded they would give me the refund for that. I kept waiting and nothing. Then our trip to Europe started and it was a whirlwind. As soon as I got back, I checked credit card statements, etc, and found that no reimbursements were made. I have written almost everyday since my return, I really have lost count how many emails I have sent, to the adresses I have including the complaints department, and all I get as an answer is that they will get back to me soon. I have even tried calling ... nothing. I had hoped that it wasn't so, but the reality is I have been ripped off. Tourists beware. I am beyond upset, and hope that Viator will answer or at least change their advertisement for this tour.
