Palma de Mallorca

(Pass by)

Our Tour begins in Camí de la Escollera in front of the Cathedral of Palma at around 09:15 hrs. Palma was founded as a Roman camp upon the remains of a Talaiotic settlement. The city was subjected to several Vandal raids during the fall of the Western Roman Empire, then reconquered by the Bizantine Empire, then colonised by the Moors (who called it Medina Mayurqa) and, in the 13th century, by James I of Aragon.

Alcudia Market

The Alcudia Market is held every Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the center of the town, on Paseo Mare de Déu de la Victòria and its surroundings. During the summer months the market occupies a large part of the historic center of the town, being one of the largest markets in Mallorca. In it we find a large number of points of sale with a varied proposal in food, textile and artisan products.

Inca Market

Also known as ´the heart of Mallorca´, Inca is worldwide known for its branded goods made from leather and its footwear. The tour includes a short visit to the Leather factory store.

Marche de Sineu

One of the most famous markets on the entire island of Mallorca is undoubtedly the traditional Sineu Market, which has been held every Wednesday in this beautiful town for hundreds of years. The Sineu market is an appointment with history, a way of meeting neighbors with their local and artisan products where we can find everything from fruits, vegetables, tools, agricultural machinery, clothing, footwear ... to nothing more and nothing less than animals. It is the only market in Mallorca that can trade with live animals.

Port de Pollenca

Discover the fisherman's wharf and the promenade in front of the sea. The Port of Pollença is the second nucleus of the municipality of Pollença. The main square of the Port is surrounded by pine trees and is dedicated to the musician and composer Miquel Capllonch y Rotger. An element worth seeing is the compass rose that centers the pavement of the square. Around the square we find the parochial church, a neo-Gothic temple, dedicated to the Virgen del Carmen. If from the square we take Calle del Ecónomo Torres we will arrive at Plaça del Enginyer Roca. A little further on are the port facilities, located in what is known as the fishermen's wharf or the old wharf. Next to the traditional fishing boats, "llaüts", is the Lonja de Pescadores.

Formentor Playa

Formentor is formed by a small mainland at the northern end of the Serra de Tramuntana. It is one of the main natural attractions in Mallorca. It offers a spectacular journey, unforgettable views and beaches with crystal clear waters. Don’t forget your swimsuit! You will enjoy almost 2 hours of free time.

Cap de Formentor

At Cabo de Formentor we can see steep cliffs, an exciting access road that has nothing to envy to the Carretera de Sa Calobra and a unique natural environment in which the Sierra de Tramontana meets the Mediterranean Sea.

Very crowded in late May on the bus. The talented guide spoke 4 languages so was hard to follow. She explained history and economy of the island so very thorough. The bus driver was a pro on the small and windy mountainous roads. Good way to see the UNESCO Tramuntaca area. Too much time at Fermentor beach with nothing to do except eat a cafeteria, since the water was too cold. Wish that time could have been spent in Pollenca instead because it looks like a lively beach town. Alcudia market was too crowded, and the lookout point Miramar was impressive.

Terrible service, waited 20 minutes to be picked up from the hotel, rang the contact number and spent a further 15 minutes on the phone to be advised the trip had been cancelled without notification. Very disappointed

Very well organised with pick up from my hotel included. Informative guide. Went to market. Boat trip from Port Pollencia to Formentor Beach
