What to expect
Teatro Massimo
The theater is one of the symbolic places of the city, the third theater in Europe. Look at the theater from the outside, the majestic facade, the staircase and the elegant lions, attentive to detail! Once all the riddles have been solved, we can move on to the next stage: the Cape Market. A visit to the theater is not foreseen for the treasure hunt.
Capo Street Market
You will live the atmosphere of the market among colorful stalls, street food and "abbanniate" (the appeal of the sellers) and you will feel like a Palermo doc! In Palermo fruits and vegetables have strange and funny names, will you be able to discover them all? There will be a stop to taste the typical Palermo street food (panelle, crocchè and arancine) and for the bravest bread with spleen or frittola (local specialties made with offal).
Cattedrale di Palermo
After covering the entire market, among the heady scents and the picturesque stalls, we will reach the majestic Cathedral with a breathtaking appearance. There a mysterious historical figure hides ready to reveal his identity to the bravest. You will meet Federico II, dressed that will tell his life, just ask him the right questions! The interior of the Chair reveals other secrets and clues to be discovered, necessary to move on to the next stage.
Cassaro
The walk along the ancient Cassaro, the oldest street in the city, will lead us to the next stop. The walk will offer us the opportunity to admire the elegant facades of noble palaces where you can read the contrasts of the city, which cover it with charm.
Fontana della Vergogna (Fontana Pretoria)
You will discover heroes and gods, fantastic animals, three-headed dragons, ferocious beasts and you will play with cheating images. Can you track down intruders? This will be an exciting stage, full of activities and tests to overcome.
Quattro Canti
The four songs are the center, the navel of the city. It is a scenographic baroque square full of symbols: you just need to sharpen your eyes to answer the riddles and move on to the next stage.
Piazza Marina
After covering the last stretch of the Cassaro, we will reach Piazza Marina, the last stage of our treasure hunt. Piazza Marina is a place rich in history: in the garden of Villa Garibaldi, dominated by the huge Magnolia, the largest tree in the city, if you have solved all the puzzles you will find the secret combination to open the treasure chest!
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
