Jacob went above and beyond to provide a fascinating tour full of history, information about the area, the businesses on the inlet, the boats moored in the inlet, the mangroves, flora and fauna, weather, and recent cyclonic activities. We were lucky enough to experience a monsoonal downpour during which I captured some amazing images. Jacob was a font of information and must have talked almost non-stop for the entire trip whilst expertly navigating the waterway.

We did this at the last minute and really enjoyed it! It’s a relaxing cruise around the inlet - unfortunately not any wildlife to be seen this day - but still a very interesting cruise around the mangroves. Lovely captain and a soft drink to enjoy whilst you meander.

The whole cruise was great from start to finish. For the time slot that I chose, I was the only person booked on the afternoon cruise. They could have easily cancelled the cruise and I would have understood, but they decided to do it anyway just with myself and the skipper. The cruise was informative and plenty of points of interest shown throughout the cruise. It was a really lovely time and a good way to fill up a bit of time in the afternoon. Highly recommended.

Great tour with the very informative Samuel. Learned a lot about this history and activities around the inlet, would happily recommend this tour.

This was a great little cruise. Our guide (I think his name was Samuel but don't throw me to the crocodiles if I'm wrong) was extremely friendly and had a great sense of humour. He had a really good knowledge of the area and the history of the place. He also knew a lot about the wildlife in the area. He knew exactly where to go to spot a crocodile. This cruise was really enjoyable and great value for money. I'd definitely recommend it.

Sam was a very entertaining and informative tour guide/driver and it was lovely to hear all his personal connections with the area. Saw a croc as an added bonus! Would definitely recommend this chill tour of the fascinating mangrove areas to anyone visiting Cairns.

A delightful and informative late afternoon cruise up Trinity Inlet (Cairns River). The skipper of the boat provided a truly interesting commentary on the mangrove ecosystem. His wealth of local knowledge brought the river to life for us as he pointed out local landmarks. A relaxed and informal afternoon of great fun. We will be back.
