The Fort Carré built in the sixteenth century overlooks Antibes. An invention of General Vauban whose port bears the name: Port de Vauban, known for its billionaire's dock, with the largest and most luxurious yachts in the world.

The artists stayed most of the time at the Colombe d'Or, very famous today, paid their stay with their paintings. That is where we still find the original works of these artists!
