We made 4,5 hours by car from Italy and arrived there was impossible Find a parking spot it took 45 minutes , we are arrived there around at 5PM (the activity was closing at 6), we ask to rent even half hour paying hour a canoa to French guy very young that manage this place and he was very not welcoming the 15th of August and he said: “sorry but we closing at 6PM and I prefer not rent now cause we are closing soon” and he suggested to go in the other area to try (after I took 45 minutes to find parking sport there)… the welcome I was expecting it would be something like ..”hey we closing soon I can give you a boat but you should rerun in 45 minutes is it ok for you? “… That is typical attitude of person it doesn’t know how to treat foreign tourist… Natural Park was amazing but the experience was very bad!!!! I will return probably in other area never there !!!!

Very beautiful (although busy), you sail along the mountains by canoe. The water is very cool and refreshing. It is really touristy and you see canoes, pedal boats and boats everywhere. You can park for free and there is a toilet for 50 cents. NB! Our car Audi was broken open (trunk). As a result, our laptop/mouse/sports watch/adapters and charging cables were stolen. It remains a mystery how they did it. We were passing through, so we stopped at this place and on to Frejus. The other belongings were stored in the car. Be careful with valuables and take them into the canoe.

Rental taken online for 3 hours, 3 days before. Given the predicted wind, I sent an email and a postponement request directly to the site, I received no response. So we decided to go anyway. Free parking for reservations made online, if you do, you have to pay. Big negative point: the welcome! No smiles, no cordial exchanges... the bare minimum when picking up the canoes and returning! Otherwise magnificent site but because of the wind, difficult to row and advice not to rush into the Gorges... It's not worth a real canoe trip down the river 😞 but nice to do... small places where you can jump...

Well located with free parking nearby On the other hand, we welcome you like numbers! No hello, no exchange. Nothing ! they throw your life jackets at you (which date from matusalem!) and your water bottle and you are ordered to go to the water's edge (a gentleman had gone by another small path and got argued like a kid!) We doesn't give you any instructions about the boat or what to see and you manage to get on the boat among the other customers who are just as lost as you! On your return, the same person welcomes you to collect the boat and the vests that you put down wherever you can! TO FLEE !!! Because it’s not because we’re on vacation that we have to let ourselves be treated like that! A tip: on the way up we saw the base of LA BEAUME which is between the free parking and Verdon canoe paddle, they are cheaper and much nicer but they don't advertise so they have fewer people. To try next time!

Le parking est appréciable, le site magnifique mais l'accueil très peu cordial et plutôt froid... Pas d'information , pas de sourire, juste des prix d'amendes si on ne rend pas le matériel... ou si on ne revient pas à l'heure. Attention au contre courant qui rallonge le trajet du retour l'après midi... Nous sommes varois et tristes de voir comment dès juin, on accueille les " touristes"... Le contact est le premier garant de la satisfaction, et là, on ne s'est pas senti accueilli et bienvenu. Dommage!
