    HIGHLY recommend!!!! Ava & Paul were top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed this small group chartered bus trip to Dover Castle, the Cliffs of Dover, and Canterbury Cathedral. I researched many tours and chose this one—which I’m so glad I did! Paul was our FANTASTIC and SKILLED driver. He got us to each destination safely. Upon our return home, London was experiencing heavy traffic delays due to a vehicle fire, which caused a tunnel closure. Paul kept updating our tour guide, Ava, and us—the passengers—on what to expect. He appeared to navigate with ease & was helpful with directing us on how to get how the quickest and safest way. Ava was our tour guide who gave insightful commentary on each destination. It helped put things into perspective and grow a better appreciation for what we were visiting. Ava went many extra miles to interact with the passengers, help us navigate the areas, and gave us clear instructions on where to go, helpful hints on what to see while exploring. She was so kind and genuine. Both Ava and Paul are gens and a true asset to Anderson Tours. The charter bus was comfortable and included air conditioning and a toilet. I would do this tour again and recommend to all my friends & family. Book this. You will NOT be disappointed.

    The tour itself was very good, however I wish that some of the timing was rearranged. I felt like we could have used an extra half an hour at Dover Castle and a half an hour less at the White Cliffs of Dover. Also, we lost time having to stand around and wait for our guide to go get the tickets, walk back to us and then let us in with the tickets, would be more efficient and give us more time if the tickets were either already in hand or if we followed to the window, we lost 20 minutes at Dover Castle waiting for our guide to come back with tickets.

    I did this tour with my husband and our infant. It was a busy itinerary, but we didn't feel rushed and got to do everything we wanted to do. The tour staff were so friendly and helpful. The tour guide was entertaining, so the long drives were enjoyable.

    Though the weather was bad and there was heavy rainfall, our guide kept us in good spirits. He shared a lot of information on the places that we visited. We could have had some more time at the Dover castle as the underground tunnel tour took a lot of time, leaving practically no time to spend at the castle. The cliffs and Canterbury Cathedral and town were good sites to visit. Overall a good trip and a recommended one.

    Our Tour Manager will introduce you to the history of Dover Castle and then you will have free time to explore. Visit the medieval war tunnels or The Royal Court of Henry II or the World War II underground hospital.
