It was a very enjoyable trip. I enjoyed everything about it. We couldn’t go all the way to Cape Tribulation as the roads were still cut after the rains but the trip was still excellent.

We had a great trip today Lisa was our guide and was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the area and interesting to listen to. The trip to the wild life park in Port Douglas was lovely as the wildlife were given the most “ natural “ environment…loved the birds.Had an interesting trip to The Mossman gorge and lovely lunch. Even saw crocs on the Daintree river tour which was a bonus.

I had originally booked the Cape Tribulation and Daintree Wilderness tour, but the damage done by the typhoon made that trip impossible. Tropic Wings quickly pivoted and reconstituted the excursion to include Daintree, the Mossman Gorge, and the Wildlife Habitat at Port Douglas. All in all, it was a delightful day,. We saw koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, and cassowaries, among other wildlife, had a beautiful and informative walk through the rainforest, and took an exciting wildlife and crocodile cruise. Our guide for most of the day, Lisa, was knowledgeable, intrepid, and accommodating. I recommend this excursion.

This tour was a great combination of local history, attractions and information. Dan was an excellent guide - he kept things going during the long stretches of driving, and also did a great job of keeping us on schedule. Highlights of the trip included animal encounters at Wildlife Habitat in Port Douglas (think pictures with koalas!), Cape Tribulation visit, Mason's Swimming Hole at lunch, Daintree Ice Cream Company, and of course the trip to the Daintree Rainforest and all that it offers. Be prepared for a very long day, but know that you'll be in great hands with this tour company!

This was an amazing day out and our guide was brilliant too. I would recommend this trip 100%. It was such an educational day and we got to see so many amazing places. The reef meets the rainforest, crocodile cruise up the Daintree River, walks in the rainforest, swim in waterholes, see so many animals and so much more. The food was good too. If your looking for a day you want to remember in the Daintree and Cape tribulation book this trip you won't be disappointed

TropicWings: We had an excellent trip into the rainforest with Ben, our guide. The whole experience was very professional. Ben was very knowledgeable and personable and gave a great deal of relevant information about the different places we passed through on the way, which gave us a good understanding about life and nature in this northern tropical part of Australia. He was also able to adapt the schedule and arrangements as the day went along to take account of traffic issues (e.g., a sugar cane spillage at a roundabout) and ferry schedules, and ensure that everything ran to plan. There was also an awareness that the area we were in was very remote and that safety and respect for nature was important. The rainforest and especially Daintree river embankment (where crocodiles, snakes, etc. are living wild) were amazing to experience, as was the more controlled but excellent wildlife habitat in Port Douglas. Overall, and excellent day.
