I got 2 emails that this trip was canceled but also was still receiving emails about the upcoming trip. I was offered an alternative trip, but when I asked for details, no one responded. I am still waiting on a response from both Anderson and Viator about my refund.

As was warned by other tourists who had been in this tour, it was a long bus ride to and from London/Cardiff. The Tour Guide was in Cardiff and we met him by about 12:00 noon. We were not informed though that the Tour Guide will be in Cardiff therefore we were wondering what to expect since there was nothing going on during the bus ride from 8:15 to 12 noon, we were not sure if the bus driver was also the Tour Guide (just like the other tours we had where the tour guide was also the driver) but the bus driver was not saying anything during the ride, thus we were like “are we doing the tour on our own? Are we to explore Cardiff by ourselves?” We were just happy to meet the Tour Guide by mid-day, he did his best to share information about the important places in Cardiff. This tour is 2/3 of the time just sitting (eating or sleeping) on the bus and 1/3 actual tour of Cardiff, due to the distance between London and Cardiff. I was just interested to see a part of Wales even for a short time so I booked this trip (at least one checked-off from my bucket list). Many thanks to the driver who drove us to and from Cardiff safely and thanks to the Tour Guide ( sorry, I forgot his name) as well.

I went to the Cardiff day tour with my husband. It was a great day out, very enjoyable. The wales local guide was brilliant. He had complete knowledge. He showed us all the main sights and gave detailed history of each in a very friendly way. We visited Cardiff castle, Cardiff bay, sea side town of penarth and other main sights of the city. We strongly recommend Anderson tours. Their tours are very well crafted and planned so they can show the maximum to their customers. Pamela Jain

Our guide was delightful and the van we rode in was comfortable. I just want to warn people it's a long drive there and a long drive back. So most of your day is in the bus. The few stops we did were nice and I felt we had enough time at each. I do wish the Cardiff Castle had more to do or that we could get more time to check out the surrounding town.

Our driver was Brandon, he is the best, it's not my first tour with him and this time my mother came with me. Even though my mother does not speak English she enjoyed the trip a lot as well. Cardiff and Caerphilly were beautiful, I am planning already a whole Wales trip starting from Cardiff. The group is small, you have time to enjoy the city on your own, so you get a good balance of things that are shown and explained to you, and your own free time. I have already decided on the next tour with them. Highly recommended.

Our driver (Ricardo if not mistaken) and tour guide were both very informative and cheerful. We were aware that it was a long ride (~3hrs one way depending on the traffic) but we had enough time to visit the historical spots and city center also grab a bite and enjoy a drink. Organization wise it was well thought-out and there were absolutely no issues.

Cardiff is a lovely place and although my friend and I enjoyed the day trip we thought that one day wasn't quite enough to see everything. Welch people are very friendly. The driver and the tour guide were amazing and made out day trip very special.
