    This was a very unique and interesting attraction. It exceeded our expectations as it isn’t just another castle, despite its name. It certainly has an enchanted atmosphere to it. It is a sculpture park full of uniquely beautiful art. There are also very interesting caves in the area, which you can explore inside. If you want to see something different when visiting Western/Southern Sicily, this is it. It is very easy to visit this, Sciacca and Capo Bianco together, if you have a car, as they are very close to each other.

    We were in Sciacca, so we decided to make a visit to the enchanted castle. I was expecting different kinds of sculptures but the stone faces were all pretty much identical.The sheer number of the sculptures was impressive, but I think overall I was disappointed. Odd more than enchanted, but some nice views of the coast. The small man - made caves were probably the most exciting bit IMO. I am glad we didn’t make a special trip to Sciacca just to visit this.

    Something very different to anything we have seen before in Sicily. Well worth the visit. Some very creative art work by an extraordinary man.

    No where on site where I bought my tickets in advance could I find the operating hours. We drove for over a hour only to find it had closed at 1:00 pm.

    Il Castello Incantato

    Taking a walk inside the garden you can see many heads carved in stone and tree trunks, today there are about 3,000. Some sculptures are isolated others are piled up in tangle, walled in the shape of pyramids, others arranged in an amphitheatre.
