One of the highlights of our visit to Chicago last October! Our 2-part 5-hour walking tour with guide Tall Dave was informative and fun. The first half was an exceptional architectural tour that included many hidden gems along with lots of fascinating fun historical facts that made everything come to life. The second half was a food tour although we did get some surprise treats in the first half, including Frango chocolate mints and Garretts popcorn. OMG, luckily I live too far away to become addicted to these, although I did buy some to share with friends. (OK I ate them all myself. 😂 ) We had Chicago-style hot dogs (no ketchup), Italian beef sandwiches and Lou Malnati’s deep dish pizza. Everything was delicious (although we in the end, we preferred Giordano’s deep dish. (Sorry, Tall Dave. 😛 We still loved your tour!)

Dash was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable about in the Chicago and very enthusiastic about the city

I visited from California and was NOT used to the cold, but this tour was well worth the shivering! Dash was not only extremely knowledgeable about the history of Chicago and the various sites on the tour, but was clearly enthusiastic and passionate about what he was sharing. I learned a great deal that made me appreciate Chicago and want to return when I have more time to explore. The historical detail provided about each building, especially the original Marshall Fields department store and Chicago Public Library, was fantastic, as was all the magnificent work of artisans of the past. I highly recommend this tour and am grateful to Dash for such a wonderful experience!

This was a small group walking tour and we covered a fair distance in the 2.5 hours. Our guide (Dash) was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of interesting facts about the architecture and pointed out buildings we just would not have seen otherwise. He also introduced us to mint chocolate in Macy's which was so good we went back to buy a couple of boxes to take home.

My wife and I were escorted by Rich. The tour was informative and enjoyable. Rich shared history about the building beyond just the basics. We would recommend this tour.

Our tour was a wonderful experience for one very specific reason: our guide, Dash. Dash was funny, thoughtful, incredibly well informed, and able to improvise on the spot to accommodate the insane heat we experienced that day. His breadth of knowledge about Chicago was expansive, and his enthusiasm and joy in sharing each piece of information at his fingertips was a pleasure to experience.
