We had an awesome time with Joe! Beautiful ride through iconic neighborhoods and great stops for local foods. Joe shared a lot of great information about the neighborhoods as we toured the areas. Amazing final stretch down the lakefront . Highly recommend!

We have been Chicago many times and were looking for something different to do. Decided on this tour, as it took us to neighborhoods we were less (or un) familiar with. So glad we did! We had a group of 14, which was manageable, if a little slow (we arrived back about 45 minutes late, so keep that in mind if you schedule things too closely). Our guide, Nate, did a good job of keeping everyone together, talking about the restaurants we visited, and telling stories about Chicago generally and food culture specifically. Loved the bites (on our trip, pizza, pierogies, tacos, and ice cream)! I added on the VIP beer tasting. It was 2 tastings. Both good, not sure it was worth the price, but I would also probably do it again.

Best part of the tour was our fabulous guide Nate! He was amazing and knowledgeable! A very fine young man!

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Nate was a great guide and the food was delicious. It was just the right amount of food, too. It's a great tour if you're traveling solo as most people are there to have a good time chit chat, so you don't feel left out.

My wife, adult son, and I took Bobby’s west side food tour. We are all from Chicago , but like to experience new adventures that the city has to offer. Bobby’s bike tour did not disappoint! The tour setup, from bike selection, to safety procedures, to tour preview was all very organized. Nate, our tour guide for the 9 of us, was friendly, fun and knowledgeable. I wasn’t sure if we were going to get samples of food, or good sized portions. Well each stop rewarded us with a very good sized portion of food. All 3 of us were comfortably full at the end of our ride. And the food at all stops was EXCELLENT! I highly recommend Bobby’s Bike tours for Chicagoans or visitors!

Joe was the perfect guide! Knowledgeable & engaging. And we learned so much about the foods and the diverse cultures/neighborhoods we drove through. The bikes are beautifully maintained (gears shift like butter!). The entire loop is flat! No hills! Thank you! :)

We live 120 miles from Chicago and visit a few times a year. We are a couple in our mid-60's and have taken Bobby's Bike Tours about 5 times in the last 10 years. They have all been excellent - All of the guides have been outstanding. This is our 2nd time on the west side tour. Our guide - Joe the Science teacher - was awesome ! The 4 food locations - and quality were very good. Going with Bobby's - they will take you places you probably won't find on your own, unless you live here. As occasional visitors - it helps us find new locations / neighborhoods to explore on our own. I feel comfortable riding thru the downtown with Bobby's - they are always very good about making the ride a safe ride. We will keep coming back as long as we can ride bikes. The west side tour runs thru lower wacker, emerges into west Fulton Market District, circles thru some great neighborhoods (Wicker Park, Bucktown, Old Town... - really cool to see the neighborhoods (they're very nice) and thru Lincoln Park - to finish on a great lakeside run with awesome city views

I REALLY enjoyed this bike ride tour!! I was trying to decide between this tour and the Bikes, Bites and Brews Tour and decided on this Westside tour because it was more off path biking around in the local creative community neighborhoods on the westside rather than staying downtown in the touristy areas. I'm from WI so I always get downtown to Chicago but I never really explore other areas so this was a great and fun way to do so. I just hopped on the train and did a solo hangout day with me, myself and I! I had the BEST time! There were some couples in the group as well as solo travelers. I loved the foodie spots we visited in between. Bonci Pizza was AWESOME!! And the pizza portion was just enough. You don't wanna get stuffed while biking. The 2nd stop was ok. We sampled some pierogies (dumplings filled with potato cheese which were good, the beef ones were also good and I didn't taste the sauerkraut one..lol). The 3rd stop for a taco was REALLY GOOD and fulfilling! And the last stop was at a chocolate/coco shop which was also pretty good! Overall, a GREAT experience!! This 13mi ride isn't for the weak..lol. The end of the stretch down Lakeshore Drive was a bit tough because of the wind..lol. But it was AWESOME!! Keep in mind, these aren't e-bikes that you're riding..lol. Just a good ol' bicycle but they are in good shape. But you will feel all of the strides in your legs..ha! But Chicago is pretty flat. Not many hills. I would definitely recommend this ride to solo travelers, couples, groups, etc. Just a great way to see the local areas of Chicago!! Some of the neighborhoods were GORGEOUS!! We all felt totally safe!! Noah and Joe were rock star guides!!

On a whim, I booked the West Side food and bike tour for my wife and 29 year old daughter who lives in Chicago. Had no idea what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised! Our leader Lou was funny, kept us safe, and super informative of all the places to eat! Did not know what to expect biking through the city of Chicago, but Lou kept us safe and we had a good time! We went along w a great couple from Milwaukee, Anthony and Francesca! All in all, a great time!

This was a really fun tour. Lou was a great guide. The food was a good mix but I wish there was more of a Chicago theme...if possible. The bike ride was fabulous
