    Wayne devised a captivating superb tour beginning with the earliest Chicago man-made structures, continuing through each successive decade. Featured buildings were described by designer, architectural style and former vs current occupants. Wayne peppered his talk with entertaining nuggets such as the person who attracted a huge crowd and short lived fame balancing on a rope stretched between the carbide building and (?) building. Perfect amount of walking for us active 60 something’s. Highly recommend!

    Mitch was our guide. He was friendly , and made the walk very interesting. He knows a great deal about Chicago, and did a good job of imparting his knowledge

    Betsy and the tour were absolutely amazing!! She was timely, descriptive, and kept the tour interesting for the whole 90 minutes.

    Mary Jane did a wonderful job leading our tour! As lifelong Chicagoans, my 2 friends and I learned so much. We will be back for others! Mary Jane was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and well represented our fabulous city!!!!

    Other than our docent Rene, my favorite part of Chicago Architecture Center's walking tour "a walk through time" is that we were able to see prime examples from many periods in Chicago's architectural history in chronological order. It was a hot day and our tour guide was careful to park us in the shade while he painted vivid vignettes of the environmental, technological, political drivers of the period, meanwhile linking each period to the city's history. I'd give this well-paced tour a grade A. Rene was super cute and I felt comfortable asking him stupid questions!
