Cinco Jotas
On this tour, you will have the opportunity to visit one of the best-known ham factories in Spain, the Cinco Jotas Warehouse. On the way, you will have the opportunity to see the pasture where the Iberian pigs are raised. Upon arrival at the warehouse, you will have a guided tour where you will learn about the curing process of the ham, unchanged since 1879. In its spectacular and well-preserved building, you will learn about the manufacture of this exquisite delicacy. This type of ham is exclusive to the peninsula, coming from the Iberian pig. This pig is raised in the wild in wooded pastures, where it can exercise and maintain a special diet (based on acorns during the montanera season). All these curiosities are data you will learn during a guided tour of the factory. Also, you will have the opportunity to taste this precious delicacy. You will try their exclusive Cinco Jotas accompanied by a tasty wine to round off your gastronomic experience.
