Tip: In Lyon, there are many stations where you can rent a public bike for a nominal fee with the simple tap of a credit card. These stations are better priced, more reliable, and more honest than the operators of ComhiC. My booking experience was the first bad sign. I requested a private e-bike tour, the company was slow to respond, and eventually sent booking paperwork riddled with mistakes (wrong kind of tour, wrong price, etc). Tip: check and double-check any documentation from this company. It got worse when, due to flooding on the Rhone river, my river cruise was rerouted, and I could not make it to Lyon for my scheduled tour. I explained to ComhiC that I was unable to get to Lyon due to weather circumstances beyond my control, and instead of showing sympathy, they mocked me by asserting the weather was “great” in Lyon. Here are the business’ own words (quotation from their email): “It is written that WE are able to cancel in case of bad or dangerous weather (such as heavy rain or wind). However, the weather in Lyon is great, the tour can take place.” Later, when I requested a refund, the business tried to rewrite history by falsely claiming to have offered alternate accommodations that they in fact had never offered. I could understand a company’s point of view if they were to firmly insist that their booking was non-refundable (not the kindest customer service, but understandable). But it is incomprehensible why Comhic makes up false excuses and mocks their customer’s bad luck when trying to justify their refusal to issue a refund. In fairness, if you are lucky enough for good weather, no transit delays, and no mistakes by ComhiC, the experience may be ok. But if anything goes wrong, ComhiC will look out for itself, not you. If you must do business with ComhiC, don’t give them your credit card number, and pay only in cash when (and if) they have actually delivered the promised experience. ComhiC may reply to this review, but since they have a habit of making false excuses, be skeptical of any claims they make in reply.

Friendly and knowledgeable guide, very good quality bikes and easy cycling. Lyon has less to see than some other cities. We visited on an overcast day, I’m sure that it would be better in the summer. It was good to visit the Tete D’Or park. A highlight for me was seeing the giraffes as they came out of their enclosure in the park zoo. We only had a morning to sightsee. This was an efficient way of seeing all of Lyon along the rivers and. was a pleasant way of passing a couple of hours.

Our guide in this tour was Marin, she shows us the most important places of Lyon, from Le Parc tete d’or to la confluence. This tour is an excellent way to know this city and to take an right idea along the two rivers. Congrats to Marin and the company

This is a great way to learn about and see Lyon by an in-sider and have great fun. My wife and I had no problems with the electric bikes. I am 74 and I had no problem and had a lot of fun. Our guide was smart, funny and knowledgeable.

De la prise en main du vélo électrique à la fin de la promenade, tout était parfait. Vraiment très agréable,même si la météo s'y prêtait .Le guide accompagnateur était très sympathique. La promenade a duré un peu plus longtemps que prévu sans que le guide accélère le rythme si qui était appréciable.

Vandaag per toeval, de uitgebreide rit aangeboden gekregen, normale tocht plus de twee heuvels en het park. Ik kan niet anders zeggen dan dat de moeite waard is. We werden super begeleid en kregen zeer goede uitleg in het Engels!

Je suis partie pour la seconde fois en week-end à Lyon, cette fois-ci décidée à tester le Segway, avec ma fille. Quand on arpente la ville de Lyon des heures, poursuivre la visite de cette manière, c’est un vrai bonheur. L’utilisation est simple mais de toute façon, l’équipe fait tout pour que ça le devienne et vous mettre à l’aise. C’est un bon compromis entre le bus touristique et la marche à pied. On découvre, on apprend tout en s’amusant. Une équipe accueillante, avec une mention spéciale pour PIERRE.
