What to expect
Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland: Education and Learning Center
We will go inside the beautiful lobby of the Federal Reserve of Cleveland. We will not tour the Money Museum but instead tour the lobby. This stop requires guests to show a government issued ID and pass through a metal detector to gain entrance.
Society for Savings Building
We will step back in time to 1890 as we visit the bank lobby of the old Society for Savings Bank (today a Key Bank). We will see a collection of old coin banks and four incredible murals.
Old Stone Church
The church is the oldest building on Public Square, 1855. We will visit the inside of the sanctuary. There are ten amazing stained glass windows, four of which are done by Louis Comfort Tiffany.
Cuyahoga County Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument
We will explore this Civil War monument honoring those 9,000 Cuyahoga County residents that fought in the Civil War, looking at the incredible artwork both inside and outside the monument.
The Arcade
Built in 1890, the magnificent building is like no other. We will explore the building from the inside and learn about its construction and history.
Cleveland Trust Company Building
Today a grocery store but for around 90 years it was the Cleveland Trust Company Bank. We will look at the incredible stained glass dome and the series of 13 murals done by Francis Millet.
Cleveland Public Library
We visit the third floor Special Collections department, see some of the great chess sets on display and the world's smallest book. As we make our way back down we will see some amazing art work through out the building including the giant statue of Superman.
