The church is the oldest building on Public Square, 1855. We will visit the inside of the sanctuary. There are ten amazing stained glass windows, four of which are done by Louis Comfort Tiffany.

We will explore this Civil War monument honoring those 9,000 Cuyahoga County residents that fought in the Civil War, looking at the incredible artwork both inside and outside the monument.

If you love extravagant architecture and loads of fun facts—I highly recommend the Cleveland From the Inside Walking Tour with Scott! I have lived in Cleveland suburbs my whole life and have longed to peak inside these building and learn, but I never had time whenever I actually made it out to the city. I found this tour suggested on thisiscleveland.com and I honestly think it was the most interesting thing I’ve done with the most beautiful sights I’ve experienced here. There are really so many historical, unique, and gorgeous buildings here and this is the perfect way to enjoy them. It was super cold the day my friend and I went, it was just us and Scott so I really appreciated that he didn’t cancel and we essentially got a private tour. Scott was extremely knowledgeable and will passionately answer any question you have with a smile. If you are debating about booking, just do it! I promise you won’t regret it. And don’t forget to tip! :D

Our guide is absolutely knowledgeable and cares a lot about the community. I’ve been to Cleveland so many times but I’ve never seen the places that he took us to. I signed up the tour to go with an out-of-the-town guest and the experience absolutely worth every penny. I highly recommend the tour and hope there are more!

I grew up in Cleveland, but haven’t been back for 40 years. A high school friend joined me who lives here, and we both learned so much about the city’s historic buildings. Scott is so knowledgeable, funny, and planned the perfect amount of spacing between sites. His experience got us into places we would not normally have gone. I highly recommend this tour whether you live here or are visiting Cleveland.

Scott did a fantastic job helping us to appreciate Cleveland and it’s role in American History. The weather was blustery but the tour was mainly inside. Do not hesitate to book this tour!

I had never been in the old stone church. If you haven’t take this tour. The arcade is as stunning as ever, and each of the buildings has a unique story. Scott, the guide, is first class.

The history of the buildings was fascinating. The tour guide was very informative and showed a high of pride for Cleveland. Highly recommend for tourists.

Scott was very personable and was knowledgeable and fun! He answered my questions and threw in tidbits of info he thought we may like based on things we’d said or where we were from. Included everyone and even though it was a small tour, he still seemed to give as much energy and passion as if there would have been a full tour. The sites and info he picked were very interesting and I feel we got a good feel for Cleveland and its history and culture. Totally recommend booking if in town and want an overview and lay of the land type experience along side detailed specific explanations of a few iconic buildings.

The fact-filled tour included history about the city and architecture, as well as current info. Very well structured, and Scott, the tour guide, is super engaging.
