I’ve done about ten experiences with Santa Barbara Adventure Co over the years, but this was the first time I took my family. My three teen daughters and I did the coastal kayak tour. We had yet another wonderful guide (Connor), who gave us a very informational, fun-packed, safe adventure. We saw lots of wildlife and learned a lot about the history and ecology of the ocean and coast. Would definitely recommend.

Chany was the best guide! She was SO patient with our disorganized group and made our time on the water such a treat. Really easy process of just showing up, and the water was ultra calm and easy to navigate for our inexperienced group.

My 12 year old son and I had another wonderful kayak trip with SB Adventure Co! Our guide, Luke, was an excellent teacher and was so knowledgeable, fun and kind. It was a beautiful day on the Gaviota coast, and Luke coached us to successfully paddle in (and later out) through the surf to enjoy kayaking on the water. It is wonderful to have them supply the kayaks, paddles, pdf's, wetsuit, paddle jackets and dry bag, and to have a knowledgeable guide with us. Each time we go creates a memorable, special experience.

We booked a coastline kayak tour with Santa Barbara Adventure Company. Our guide was friendly and answered our questions. Unfortunately there was no provided lunch or "beach games" or swimming as the ad promised. In addition, the ad stated 3-4 hour excursion (ours was less than 3 hours). It was lovely to be on the water but we felt SBA didn't deliver as promised.

Private kayaking tour was fantastic. We really enjoyed the guide and he was gracious enough to tow me when my arms got fatigued. Lots of fun, highly recommended it.

Great trip, loved shoving off through the waves and we got to land on a mostly untouched stretch of beach. Also super informative re: biology, geology, and history. Had a great time and plan on doing another trip next time we're in Santa Barbara.

This was a wonderful experience. We had a perfect day for kayaking and the views were spectacular. There were four of us and we all had a great time . We had an excellent guide who shared a lot of history and interesting facts along our route. Definitely recommend.

We saw sea creatures, dolphins and the cormorants nesting area. We took a few breaks on the water for stories and snacks. The views of the coast from the water were amazing. The guides knew the biology and the history of the area. They helped us get out on the water and back onto land. We were all comfortable and warm during our trip.
