Mosteiro de Santa Clara-a-Velha
On the other side of the Mondego, we recommend visiting the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha and the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Nova, built to replace the first, which until recently was buried by the mud of the Mondego.

Aveiro
After the visit to Coimbra, we will start our journey towards Aveiro, where we will have lunch in one of the many typical restaurants, with the fresh and succulent fish so characteristic of this traditionally fishing city. We will then continue through its center and along the various canals that justify the nickname “Portuguese Venice”. In the oldest part, you can still see the original facades of the picturesque colorful houses of the old fishermen, as well as a set of Art Nouveau style pieces that are worth appreciating.
Ecomuseu Marinha da Troncalhada
We suggest a visit to the Ecomuseu Marinha da Troncalhada, where artisanal salt production methods are shown and the characteristic landscape, fauna and flora are explored, keeping alive the experiences and traditions linked to this centuries-old activity.
