Booked the activity with 4 of my girlfriends and we had a blast. Paul, our tour guide, was so engaging, accommodating, patient, funny, and took our group pictures for us. We stopped at the multnomah falls, ate lunch, and 2 wineries. Lunch was about $20 and each winery was $15. We got picked up at 10am and dropped off by 5pm. I would recommend booking this excursion!

Based on our past experiences of tours throughout our travels, my husband and I would not describe this as a tour. We got a driver and a van. Our driver did not seem to know much about Oregon. There were no facts or figures shared during the drive. For example, there was a burn scar from a past fire. We are use to drivers telling us about when the fire took place, how big the fire was and how long in burned, etc. Or as we get closer to a waterfall the history of the waterfall. Our driver was a nice guy but certainly was not engaging. We all arrived home safe and sound. The restaurant Riverside had really good food but the service was extremely slow and they were not busy. I would suggest that they skip the restaurant stop and proceed to Stave n Stone so the guests can eat there along with their one wine tasting. That may allow for additional time to stop at another winery. Stave n Stone was a great winery, by the way. This package includes one winery stop.

My best friend and I took this tour while visiting Portland for my 40th birthday. It was an incredible experience and our guide was amazing! We were picked up at our hotel and then headed on our adventure to the waterfalls. Our lunch was delicious and right on the river. After lunch we headed to the winery Ani Che which was out of this world. I actually ordered a case of wine once I got home because it was so good. Highly recommend this tour as it gives you the greatest hits of the Columbia Gorge.

We had an incredible day seeing waterfalls, hiking a bit, and touring wineries. I highly recommend this tour. It was a wonderful day and exactly what we were looking for. We had a nice mix of walking, beautiful sights, good food and good wine. Dasha was so knowledgeable about the area, wine, and so many other things. She was an awesome guide.

This tour was a wonderful experience! My sister and I came to Portland for a girls’ weekend and I booked this tour for us, and I’m so glad I did! This was certainly a great way to get a taste of the Columbia River Gorge area and stress free with Dasha our fantastic and fun guide. Everything was well-organized and top quality from start-finish, including messaging with Paul the owner prior to coming, pick up, clean vehicle, and plenty of time at each stop. Dasha was so personable and knowledgeable, she brought the fun! We loved each of the waterfall and hiking stops, the time in town for lunch and our food from the food trucks, and certainly the wineries! Dasha gave us the choice between wineries or breweries and then gave us several places to pick 2 stops from. She also threw in some personal touches to our tour that we really enjoyed! We would highly recommend this tour, and are looking forward to another Portland trip to book another itinerary with this tour group!

Willamette Valley Tours was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I dealt with the owner Paul a few months prior to my arrival in Portland for my 50th Birthday. Given it was my first visit to Oregon, I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to do the coast or the Falls or both tours. Paul's knowledge of the area and his experiences with group tours lead us down the right path and we selected the Columbia Gorge & Waterfall Wine Tour! And, we were not disappointed! We visited in May and the weather was perfect for tour. Our driver was Dasha who was not only knowledgeable about the tour but, provided us with some information on the area as well. As we traveled to each stop Dasha provided us with an excellent narrative of the Fall we were visiting along with information about Falls we passed along the way. I might add she is also an excellent photographer and will make sure she gets the perfect photos of your group! When I return to Oregon I would not hesitate booking another tour with Willamette Valley Tours! Their services are A+ in my book!

What a great day! Great combination of activities and super weather for November; we loved seeing Mt Hood as the clouds opened up, the waterfalls, the river, and tasting local wine from a couple of smaller wineries. Lunch in Hood River looking across the great Columbia was beautiful and good food. Our driver was excellent - we enjoyed his company and conversation. It was a great way to get a feel for the area while having fun!
