Your Itinerary

Grand Central Terminal

While Grand Central Terminal stands today as one of New York City's most famous landmarks, it was by no means the first railroad station in New York City. In fact, the current structure is neither the first to claim the name "Grand Central" or to occupy the present location at 42nd and Park.

Rockefeller Center

Rockefeller Center was named after John D. Rockefeller, Jr., who leased the space from Columbia University in 1928 and developed it from 1930.

Times Square

Formerly Longacre Square, Times Square entered the nation's consciousness in 1904, when it was renamed after the New York Times building that became the cornerstone of the new district.

Tudor City

"Tudor City" takes its name from England's Tudor Dynasty (1485-1603) a Golden Age of Arts and Letters. Before Tudor City, tenements and slums dominated the area, which bordered a power plant and slaughterhouses, along First Avenue on the East River.

United Nations Headquarters

The idea for the UN was espoused in declarations signed at the wartime Allied conferences in Moscow, Cairo, and Tehran in 1943.

St. Patrick's Cathedral

St. Patrick’s Cathedral was opened formally on May 25, 1879. The newspapers hailed the new Cathedral as “the noblest temple ever raised in any land to the memory of Saint Patrick, and as the glory of Catholic America.”

I had David as a guide. He was fantastic. Very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about NY and he had great suggestions. We covered a lot of ground. I am not a particularly fast runner but we were able to go at the speed I was comfortable with.

Can totally recommend the Crossroads of the World running tour. My son and I did the tour with Angie and Shelly, who were really friendly and showed us some of the bits of NYC we would have missed and told us lots of interesting facts. Run was nice and relaxed, like running with friends. A great way to start the day

The guide was really nice and kind! The schedule correct, all destinations were wonderful, and we did the running tour in a small rain and a cold day! The team sent me an e-mail previously about the probability to rain, and to be prepared to it, and it was really nice! I hardly recommend!!!
