I’m not a fan of writing reviews, but in a case like this it has to be done! Alan is absolutely D.C.’s BEST tour guide. My twenty something daughter and I went into this experience not really knowing what to expect. We’d heard a lot of stories about how dull and boring most D.C. tours could be. But, boy was it ever a blast! Alan knows so many little details that are truly gems. He gives you a slew of intimate stories and personal facts about so many of our former leaders, various agencies and offices, memorials, and the city as a whole. He’s also one of the funniest guys to spend an afternoon with. Who knew that time spent with an “encyclopedia” could be so much fun!! And on top of every thing else, he’s very patient about getting great pics at every special site. We spent 5 hours with him and it felt like maybe 2 at the most. I highly recommend this private tour with Alan. It seems a little expensive when you’re signing up, but I guarantee you won’t feel that way when the day is over. Money very well spent!

Our private tour guide Mr. Alan Feldman took us to monuments we wanted to see. His knowledge is impressive. He explained to us the history behind every site in great detail. The building that left the greatest impression on us was the Capital. We learned so much from Alan the time we spent with him!

Our family had a fantastic time exploring Washington DC with Alan Feldman as our tour guide! Alan's friendly demeanor and expertise made the experience enjoyable for both our kids and us! He effortlessly told us stories of American history and culture into our journey, keeping our children captivated and curious at every turn. Alan's attention to detail ensured we didn't miss any of the iconic landmarks, and his patience with our questions made the tour both educational and entertaining. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. Highly recommended!

Alan was the best tour guide we have ever had. Extremely knowledgeable with so many historical stories that we will remember forever. My favorite memorable moment was seeing the real original Constitution and Declaration of Independence documents. The Capitol tour was tremendous as well. Thank you Alan for a wonderful tour through the best of DC.

When coming to a large historical city, there is always so much to absorb and experience. Having someone with historic knowledge is a wonderful advantage. My mother, brother, sister and I planned a trip to DC and was able to secure Alan Feldman as our tour guide. Alan emailed an itinerary of what to expect prior to our tour, made sure we had everything outlined for our wishlist of things to see in our allowed time. The tour was very interactive and Alan made us feel right at home. My mother was in a wheelchair and the pace was pretty easy to accommodate maneuvering. We toured Arlington, was able to pay respects to a friend recently laid to rest and catch the changing of the guard. Other stops were incorporated. After returning to DC, we took a walking tour of the monuments. The day was blustery but so beautiful. Alan is a wealth of knowledge and his added stories of historical events brought everything to life and full circle. Kay, Wade, Heather - Tennessee Karen - Mississippi We highly recommend!

Alan Feldman of Concierge Tours brought our nation’s history to life for our two grandchildren (both 15), which is what every parent or grandparent hopes will happen when taking children or grandchildren to Washington D.C. The four of us were totally enthralled with Alan’s stories and incredible knowledge of American History. I had been to D.C. five times previously over the years but had never hired a tour guide before. I decided to hire Alan for this trip to help us accomplish the most we possibly could in the two days we had available. Alan is a member of the Professional Tour Guides Guild, and we were absolutely captivated by his many historical facts and stories. Alan allowed us to EXPERIENCE America’s history, not just SEE it. Alan makes touring D.C. so convenient. He picked us up at our hotel each morning and delivered us back to our hotel each night. I was relieved to not have to navigate D.C. traffic & parking. He knows every nook, cranny, & alley around D.C., and quickly navigated long tourist lines and traffic obstacles. He even took us to great restaurants, shopping in Georgetown, and delivered us to pick up our rental car so we could take our grandkids to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens for a few days. In short, Alan gave us an absolutely unforgettable experience. It truly was a trip of a lifetime. He He definitely deserves five stars in my book!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a great day exploring DC with our tour guide, Alan. We didn’t even feel like we were on a tour, more like hanging out with your Uncle, that is a history nerd. Alan will customize the tour for what you would like to see, he calls you ahead of time and makes a plan. It was our first time to DC and were there for a day, so we wanted to cover as much ground as possible and Alan delivered the perfect tour. We had our teen son and daughter with us, Alan kept them engaged and made it a fun time from them. If you love searching for Easter Eggs, DC had quite a few and Alan can show you where they are all at. Thanks, Uncle Alan!

When our friends told us about how they took their grandkids to Washington DC, they recommended that we hire Alan to guide us. Their description of an “Alan tour” was amazing. So when we took our grandkids to DC, we hired Alan for 1 ½ days. He exceeded our expectations. Oh, my, is this guy good. First of all, he made it “our” tour and accommodated our needs and our interests. Then he has that skill to be inclusive for our grandkids. He directed his attention to them, asking them questions beyond just seeing. His stories and insights brought life to American history that made all of us want more. He is going to be quoted a lot as we recall all the information we absorbed. We loved watching him “light up” while he was telling a historical story (stories he had already told a number of times before!). He is passionate about history and his tours. Our 13 year old grandson said the trip was a 10 out of 10 and he wouldn't change anything. That is a high recommendation!! We are looking forward to bringing our other grandkids so they can hear and experience Alan, but he was fantastic for us as well. This guy is really good.

We booked a corporate trip with concierge tours for our team meeting. Alan was great! We had such a fun time, very knowledgeable and funny! We were able to customize the trip and hop on and off to see the monuments! A great way to see DC! Will definitely use him going forward!

A big thank you to Alan for delivering an unforgettable personal tour around Washington for myself and my husband. We were grateful to him for his detailed and in-depth knowledge, not just of Washington but of the US more generally, which we enjoyed learning about. We were very lucky with fabulous sunshine and so got to see Washington in all it's glory. The fact that we were able to cutomise our tour with Alan was really great and the informal, friendly nature of how he showed us round made for a really enjoyable experience. If you're thinking of seeing the sights in Washington and learning more about this fascinating place, then we highly recommend Alan and this superb tour.
