Absolutely loved this tour. Our driver / guide was the amazing Libby, she was just brilliant. And the bonus for us was we had Libby for a 2 day tour to Kakadu. What a bonus ! The half day highlights included everything and more. Highlight surprisingly for us was the aviation museum… just wow, couldn’t spent the whole tour there and we not really into aviation at all. The B 52 we were all under was unbelievable.., the info about the bombing of Darwin and generally the war so interesting and the flying race. And the women in aviation display was sooo great !! Well done to the people at AAT that structure this tour !! 🥂🥂🥂✈️

Mark at AAT was very knowledgeable on Darwin’s history & provides some light hearted comedy along the way. Great way to spend a 1/2 day in Darwin.

Whilst the tour was in general OK it was extremely disappointing that an AAT kings person boarded the bus we were on and was told to sit at the back of the bus by Libby the tour driver, the staff member was clearly unwell, coughing almost continuously, sneezing etc and not wearing a mask, most likely covid related as a few people of this tour subsequently tested positive. The staff member should not have been on the bus in such a condition.

This half day tour is popular and offers a good overview of Darwin. The commentary is very good and light hearted. After seeing the main civic buildings in downtown Darwin, we visited the waterfront, aviation museum, Darwin’s Museum and Gallery, Fannie Bay before final the Botanic Gardens. Very pleasant and we saw some of the more interesting parts of Darwin. Some visits were a little rushed, but then again it’s only a half day tour.

Very good tour. Mark was pleasant and entertaining with his commentary. The bus was clean, tidy The tour showed many different sites in Darwin as well as visits to the aviation museum.

It was all enjoyable. Commentary from the guide was informative and interesting. Maybe a little more time and information about the botanical gardens would have been a bonus…. Especially about the local fauna and flora.

First time in Darwin so this was a great way to get an overview of the city. Shane was knowledgeable, humorous and super helpful. I use a wheelchair for assistance with walking and he was only too pleased to help where he could.
