    The tour was as described. The food was fine, a smaller buffet but serviceable. Fresh mussels seemed to be the favorite but I don't eat them so I had to judge by what others said. The cruise was along the coastline but there really isn't much to see.

    In early August we went on the Dinner Cruise with another couple of friends while visiting Darwin. It was easy to pick up the cruise at the wharf and the evening was delightful. The extensive smorgasbord meal left nothing to be desired with ample of everything! People were welcome to have seconds or even thirds if they so desired. The evening views around the Harbour were great added to by some foreign navy vessels in town for a large military exercise that was going on at the same time as we were there. All in all a highly recommended activity when in Darwin.

    The cruise was very pleasant and the sunset was amazing. Crew were lovely. The food was very good. Well worth experiencing.

    Darwin Harbour Cruises

    Your cruise will depart from DOCK 3, located at the very end of Stokes Hill Wharf, city side. Crew members will meet you under the large blue umbrellas and will commence boarding 30-minutes prior to the cruise departure time. Generally you will leave Stokes Hill Wharf, travel along the Esplanade cruising along at 4 knots past the Larrakeyah Naval barracks, Cullen Bay and Fannie Bay. Your experienced skipper reserve the right to change the route subject to tidal conditions, guest’s safety and comfort. Tidal conditions determine how close to the coast the 'Charles Darwin' can operate. Hear knowledgeable commentary from the crew on Darwin History, Cyclone Tracey and the bombing of Darwin. In the past there have been sightings of crocodiles, dolphins, turtles and dugongs, however there is no guarantee you will see wildlife on your cruise. You will experience a Sunset on Darwin Harbour followed by Darwin’s skyline lit up at night.
