    It was a good experience because we did not have to wait in the long lines in the heat to go in. The David statue was amazing and we enjoyed the whole Accademie Gallerie.

    It was great with skip the line tickets. The place to exchange vouchers was just near the queue into the museum.

    Great gallery of art and sculpture! David was impressive. Was a little annoyed that after buying pricey "skip the line" tickets, we still had to wait in line for about 8-10 minutes in 95 degree temp! Still way better than others without STL tickets! Despite crowds, definitely worth seeing!

    Terrible experience. On our way to the museum, I downloaded the ticket only to realize the pickup was not anywhere near the museum. Many of the other tours we booked on Viator met us at the location or within a block of the attraction, but this tour didn’t even bother. We asked the agency to help with a taxi and they did not help. We hurried 20 minutes in the heat in the opposite direction of the museum, found the travel agency, and then paid for a taxi back to the museum. The agents were useless and did not try to do anything to help us. It was obvious that this happens all day long with their company. We asked about switching the reservation time as we were so late and risked not be given access to the museum at all. We also asked about switching the reservation to a different museum that was nearby. There was nothing they would do. On top of that the tickets they supplied us had four different times including time slots from early AM and late PM but only 1 at the time we booked, so as we rode in the taxi we also couldn’t tell if they were valid tickets. The entire experience was very stressful and the customer service was non-existent.

    We were in Florence for two days. We were sure what time we would be able to see David so these last minute skip the line passes saved us hours in line.

    Galleria dell'Accademia

    Come and discover Michelangelo's David, one of the most famous Florentine symbols, a sculpture made of marble (520 cm high including the 108 cm base) by Michelangelo Buonarroti between 1501 and early 1504, considered a masterpiece of world sculpture, is one of the emblems of the Renaissance as well as a symbol of Florence and Italy abroad. The play portrays the biblical hero as he prepares to face Goliath, the David is always considered the ideal of male beauty in art. The Gallery is one of the places with the highest number of sculptures by Michelangelo, you can also admire the museum of musical instruments, the largest collection of paintings with a gold background and the Prison Room with sculptures designed for Pope Julius II. You will enter from the priority entrance to the museum and enjoy a journey into the life of Michelangelo Buonarroti’s genius, to discover Renaissance sculpture while appreciating his works and sculptures.
