The tour guide never communicated with us and never showed up. I informed the to Viator and we are now figuring out if they will return my money. The only reason I am writing this is because I keep getting reminders to write my review. Well, there you go!

There was no tour… It was cancelled and we were not notified! We were left in the lurch and are waiting for our REFUND!

We had an amazing trip to a very special place. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Annie. She made sure that we saw every place that we hoped to see and more. We learned a lot, saw some beautiful sites, and met wonderful people. As a tour guide, Annie was brilliant. She shared history, stories and local knowledge, answering our many questions along the way. Annie helped us connect with family, find family homes, and made sure we had all the time we wanted to explore and visit.

We had a wonderful day with our tour guide, Gordon. He took us to the Callanish Stones, a beautiful beach where the chessmen were found, and finally to the Gearranan Blackhouses. He gladly shared all kinds of cultural information with us, and he was just a fantastic tour guide. With all that being said, I must admit that there was a great deal of confusion about this tour. We had originally signed up for the Isle of Lewis tour, but the location where we were supposed to meet was very unclear. After calling the original tour guide, I finally discovered where we were supposed to meet, and that we could switch to a different tour. Everything worked out fine, but if a tour is going to be canceled, it should not be advertised online.

We’ve just got back from an 8 hour tour around Lewis and Harris with Annie. We were in a group of 7 people which was a nice sized group. Annie is very friendly and knowledgeable about the island and their history. The tour took us to all of the places we as a group wanted to visit and some hidden gems we didn’t know about. Annie also provided snacks and drinks for anyone who needed them as not much open shop wise on Sundays. Clean and comfortable mini bus and worth every penny

This is a rip off - £120pp to be hoarded around in a large coach missing out some of the sites promised. We were expecting a minivan tour and so we’re all the other travellers on the coach. The tour guide was aggressive when we questioned her and didn’t dress professionally- tight leggings and a T-shirt made her look as if she’d fallen out of bed!!!! We did a lot of hanging around and was offered our only lunch break at 11:15!

Annie appears to be often overwhelmed by her business. Ten of us were left standing on the sidewalk as she filled our van with others instead. She was nasty and impatient because she had screwed up by overbooking (by a lot). We compared notes and discovered we had all been promised an 8-seat van. She slammed her door while screaming "get a refund" as she drove away, to our utter astonishment. Luckily it turned out that the tiny town of Stornoway had an available taxi driver who gave us the best tour ever --- he even reversed our route so we wouldn't run into the tour busloads. A horrid start to the day but which turned out wonderfully. Do not trust Annie for good service, or any service at all.

Instead of s group tour for up to 8 people we were on a bus of over 30. We only went to one of the 3 advertised stops- the standing stones Never went to the church and never went to Lewis Tour lasted 4 hours instead of 6. Simply not as advertised and not worth the money

Very disappointed At meetup did not see any sign or greeter about Viator Saw several buses but expecting a van Advertised as group of 8 at max Not expecting a bus of 36 Bus left without us and it cost a $50 taxi to catch up with group Tour only went to only one of 3 stops listed Did not go to church with crusader tombs and never made it to Harris Just s beach and the Black Houses Returned to dock after 4 hours not 6 as listed A huge disappointment and a waste of money

We enjoyed seeing the Scottish countryside. We were taken to interesting places we would have never found on our own. Our guide and driver were great.
