In 1996, this market received the distinction of “Exceptional Market” from the National Council of Culinary Arts. Still remaining one of the most sought out markets to visit in the country. With over 30 producers from all over the region are here to sell their farm fresh produce, the diversity and quality of the products make the Marché de Fontainebleau of the most famous ones in France. You will find yourself surrounded by fresh fruits and vegetables, truffles, but also traditional charcuterie, a wide variety of cheeses.

After picking up the fresh produce from the market, our driver will take you to a French courtyard pavilion. A full course "Apéritif à la française" will be served, prepared directly from the produce bought earlier at the Market of Fontainebleau. Each course will be specially prepared to your desires and paired with various French wines. Our local food expert will be explaining to you the traditions of French food classics and its cultural representation. The tasting will take place in a charming and delightful French courtyard pavilion traditionally named “Les Affolantes.” These estates hold a particular place in French history. In 1830, they began constructing them along the famous Seine river bringing the bourgeoisie out of Paris and to the countryside. The particularity of these estates was their cottage like architecture which mimicked the traditional coastal Norman architecture.
