Golfo di Olbia

From the old city harbor we start our trip along the docks of the ferries and cruise ships as well as countless mussel farms. We pass 'La Isola Bocca' with its landmark, the lighthouse of Olbia. The Gulf of Olbia is now opening up giving us the opportunity to open the sails

Golfo Aranci

Passing the Golfo Degli Aranci, we pass 'La Isola Di Figarolo', an island that rises directly from the sea without any shoals, with a size of 0.211 km². This island also has a lighthouse for maritime orientation.

Golfo di Marinella

Under sail we reach the Golfo Di Marinella, a dreamlike bay that invites you to swim with its crystal clear water. In addition, other activities such as stand-up paddle, kayak or snorkeling can be practiced here. Lunch is also prepared on board.

Tavolara Island

Should the wind not allow a pleasant trip to the Golfo Di Marinella, we will sail south, past the Isola Tavolara. The island with a length of six kilometers and a width of one kilometer is known as the smallest kingdom in the world. With a height of 560 meters, this island is also very popular for climbing enthusiasts.

Isola Di Molara

We pass the 'Isola Di Molara'. This island with a size of around 10 km² was inhabited from ancient times up to the 20th century.

Capo Coda Cavallo

The Capo Coda Cavallo is pure nature with long white sandy beaches. An ideal place to take a swim and stop for lunch. Here, too, other activities such as stand-up paddle, kayak or snorkeling can be practiced.

We had the most amazing day with Ulrich and his dog Leila - such a great host. The boat is beautiful and the whole trip is surrounded by stunning scenery. Lots of fun, would definitely recommend.

We spent some time procrastinating over whether to do a boat trip whilst in Olbia region of Sardinia. We are so pleased we went with Uli and his catamaran sailing tour, we felt we'd hit the jackpot no doubt here the minute we stepped on board. The boat is comfortable, you can be close to other quests or distant, its your choice, as the space is expansive coupled with the small groups Uli takes on. Its relaxed and peaceful, although I was alarmed at the number of boats that do stop in the Capo Coda Cavallo, the peace is somewhat shattered but the sheer beauty and clarity of the water surpasses this. Plenty to drink, help yourself to beer, water and local wine from the fridge and Uli knocks up a great pasta meal for lunch! Exceptional day, thank you Uli for looking after us, I would not hesitate to book with Uli again.

A lovely day with super company which included Leila the Labrador. We went out on a fairly breezy day so the itinerary had to be changed to find some sheltered bays for swimming and lunch but the day was still splendid. The benefit of the weather was we were able to sail with the engines off for much of the day.

Where do I start?!! Our host was amazing .. he made us feel at home on his catamaran. He and his pup where so welcoming and he cooked a great meal! My kids are still asking for the recipe 🤌🏽 It was one of the best days in Sardegna! The company the views the availability to use his paddle boards and so on. I’m so glad my fear of the ocean didn’t stop us from this beautiful experience 🙌🏽 Thank You!!
