A completely enjoyable evening. The guide allowed time for questions and discussion within the group, which was fun. A pleasurable walk, spooky stories, and a hint of the weird… Everything we could expect! My daughter has decided ghost tours are HER THING, which is a success in my book.

We loved this tour! Our guide, Stockton, was super knowledgeable about the area and had many good stories both relating to the tour and questions we asked. We would highly recommend!

This was a great tour. Lots of fun information at historic buildings, little bit of walking. Now I know what DC really stands for. If you want to know, take the tour.

Tony was great. Great at telling the stories and a little extra as we were walking to each site. Perfect sense of humor as well to make it very entertaining throughout the night.

Interesting stories and we enjoyed ourselves but overall not the best ghost tour I have ever done. The guide was knowledgeable on the history of the area.

The tour guide "Doug" was completely irresponsible and possibly deranged. The tour was scheduled to begin at 8 pm. We were there at 8 pm looking for the tour guide and could not find him. The street was closed off for a movie shoot and there were several groups of people at the location. We went up to many groups asking if they were the ghost tour group to no avail. We tried to call the vendor and only got the voicemail. Then we see that the DC ghost tour guide"Doug" texted at 7:57 with a NEW LOCATION. We texted that we were walking over. As the street was closed, we needed to walk around the entire city block in order to reach the new location. Again we asked around, texted, and called. The tour guide was unresponsive. Then, at 8:24 pm we get a text that they are in front of the White House and are moving on to the Blair House. We used google maps to find the Blair House and when we arrived, I asked a participant if this was the DC Ghost Tour and she said it was. I told her we got 3 minutes' notice of the change in location. At this point, the tour guide stops speaking to the group and GLARES at me. I repeated, "You gave us 3 minutes' notice of the change of location and then wouldn't respond to our text." An apology should have been in order but instead, his face contorted, he did a little "hop?" in the air and began screaming, "BECAUSE I WAS GIVING A TOUR!" like a 4-year-old throwing a temper tantrum or a mentally deranged person! His behavior was absolutely disgusting. I replied, "That was very irresponsible! How did you expect us to find you?!" He claimed he waited 10 minutes which is untrue because he did not respond to any of our texts or calls to the number he texted from. It said the mailbox was full. I am attaching a screenshot of the exchange for you here as proof. He rolled his eyes, grimaced, and began addressing the group again. We walked away and contacted Beverly at Viator who was both shocked and sympathetic. I have used Viator many times throughout the years both domestically and abroad and have never had a problem. This is the worst experience I have ever had on a tour. Now, it appears I am only getting responses from Viator bots as I am try to get a refund. We pre-paid for the tour and then were cheated and denied that tour. This is THEFT!
